I need to find a good lawyer to file a lawsuit towards greene county.
Been talking with Richard Spivey.
There is another good lawyer out of Morristown (she) has won almost every case towards greene county. I think this is enough damage done to my family member that is in custody. The guards ripped up pictures of His(inmate) daughter, and his deceased father. Also made statements saying that they would "F*** his mother"
I got every little thing wrote down. I got the money, I want something done!
If anyone else has a family member / friend that is in custody at Greene County Detention Center, that has been treated severally wrong, not getting medical attention. Please reply to this post.

We all know wrong from right even while growing up. I think, since we do know wrong from right and we do steal, do drugs, murder, whatever else, then we deserve to be put away. Really what needs to be done is, if someone steals from you,the law should let you steal from them while they watch, if someone rapes a woman, then they should be fixed, if someone assaults you, then the law should let you beat the hell out of the person that beat you up, while he is handcuffed. People do not like it when the shoes on the other foot.
Verbal, sexual, physical, and psychological abuse are not exactly part of the sentence for simple possession or violation of probation. I do think it makes sense to castrate child molesters. That one does make sense.

If there is proof...and with these hillbilly goofballs down there running the place, they don't have sense to know how to follow basic standards (per Robert Kain from TCI). A crime is a crime whether it is committed by a drug dealer, a soccer mom, or a corrections officer. If someone dies because an officer is knowingly neglectful, for example, the officer can be charged with a wrongful death suit. There is a big difference in meeting basic human needs ( per TCI) and providing a hotel.

Hey guys,
I know there is alot of criminals in that jail, but look they do the crime they do the time. Stop hating on "EVERYBODY". Your not suppose to hate anyone! I Know a few people that is in there and drugs just got ahold of them. They need a REAL DOCTOR. NOT A VETERTIAN. The C.O.s need to be retrained to do their d@mn job. And quit being a holes and maybe the inmates wouldn't do this.
They got nothing else to do. The hot water has been tore up, the food is slop and there is so much more i could write a whole page of it. So "US" Tax payers need to get better medical attention in that jail and better c.o's Or it will just get worse. We are the tax payers so its up to us.
drugs just got ahold of them... put a leash on your kids people. They do drugs they go to jail they get pampered by the system they go to rehab on the taxpayers dime then they get out a get messed up again. If people would jerk a knot in their kids tails, or maybe let the officers do it when they go to jail then maybe jail would be a punishment not a homeless shelter/free hotel. The reason this country is in such bad shape is because we slap these idiots on the wrist. Ever seen the movie "Cool Hand Luke" thats what jail should be. Comfort should not even be in the jail. Make them sweat make them cry make them hurt then they may actually be sorry for what they done, not just say it to get out on probation or parole. The term "Correctiions" SHOULD BE JUST THAT BEAT THEM INTO BEING A PART OF SOCIETY NOT A BURDEN TO IT.

I'm glad your family is perfect, if you have one. If you don't, it's easy to see why. The Bible reminds us, pride goes before the fall...best of luck.

Where is the justice for the victims if you want justice for all? I bet you are a kool aid drinker. You sure sound like one.

Well, believe it or not I understand that too. I was actually a victim of a violent crime many years ago that went unsolved. I have spent many years looking over my shoulder, jumping at loud noises and wondering "who" and "why". I've been awakened many nights by nightmares of that attack. I do understand. It's simply not "justice" to deny someone basic human rights even after they have committed a crime, especially misdemeanor crimes. The founders of our country understood that. That's why our pledge says "justice for ALL." Not SOME, not those who have never done anything wrong, not those who are rich, not those who have friends with connections, BUT ALL. That means everyone. You don't stop having rights when you get a speeding ticket. You don't stop having rights when you cheat on your spouse. You don't stop having rights when you are caught for DUI, or for possession of illegal drugs, or whatever! One important point everyone is forgetting is that there are people in there who have not had a trial or been proven guilty. It's America, a person is actually supposed to be innocent until proven guilty.

They also cut off hands for theft in Muslim countries when shari'a law was enforced. Jesus brought a message of forgiveness and love though, so we wouldn't have to pay for our sins. Jesus is our Attorney arguing for a second chance sometimes more for us when we mess up and are truly sorry.

If you were in jail would you be saying this?? No u would want to get out. What about the people that are innocent? What if the victims are the ones that should be in jail? What if they made up a story cause they are drug dealers and couldn't tell the real story... Ever think about the families of the people who are in jail. Yeah the victims should be furious with the inmates but the victims are not always innocent either. Think About if it was you in there what would you do. Or if you had a family member in there would you basically wish death upon them?
Actually, I wouldn't be in jail in the first place because I have respect for myself and others, something the scum in Greene Co.Hilton do not. I haven't had any family in jail either, but if they were they deserved what they got by doing something to get put in there.

Give them the bare minimum to survive and let them rot. Its not a resort - its punishment. Must not be too bad since so many of these losers keep getting locked up.

Great. Let them get right with their maker and all that, but jail time is hard time not "Hold hands and sing kumbawah" time.

I say put them to work- trash, road work, cleaning jail-just monitor them! Yes, there is innocent people that get accused and arrested. It called a Corrupt system and sometimes are local do hoofers are the Very people that Set people up. The Courts can be just as Bad- watch out for the Tipton's brigade or should I say Cutshaws. I wonder just how setups and deals are transacted there what with law, judges, attorneys, and our local DCS groups hanging there. I don't imagine they talk to the waitresses that waits and Serves them!

Now we are playing semantics. If death was what was implied it wouldn't have been prefaced with survival. Kind of self-defeating wouldn't you think?
