I like to keep things pretty low-key, especially if it is a first date...no need to make elaborate plans that only serve to add pressure to an already nerve-wracking situation! However, I think this answer depends largely on the person with whom you are on a date...the perfect location/setting can seem like hell if you're with a toad, while the sewer can seem like...well, anything other than the sewer b/c pretty much any location would be an upgrade if you are with someone who you connect with well & enjoy being with.

I'm wanting try something new. Maybe a picnic in one of the parks. Paint creek maybe. Picnic, could go for a walk an enjoy the beauty of the mountains. Possibly jump in the creek an cool off if things get too hot ;). With a date like that you can get a little more private one on one time to bond and connect than if you was at a fancy resturant, a movie or one of those type of dates.

I cannot begin to tell you about the last date I went on! BUT, I've always wanted to go hiking and enjoy some beautiful scenery as we stop to have a picnic lunch... I have begged to have lunch on the "picnic rock" up in horse creek but have yet to find anyone that would... I love my man but he's not very romantic. Lol I did finally get a late night horse back ride, just he and I... That was great.

I also like fun things like bowling, ball games, arcades and dancing... A day/evening playing putt-putt and go cart racing would be right up my alley.:)

Thus the one (field trip) thing about having children with special needs... I get my child and that's it.:) I drive separate from the bus so we can leave whenever... So I call the shots and we can take off on our own and actually enjoy the trip!:). We are going to a new place we haven't been before so we are excited to see what it's like. Rainforest Adventures here we come.:)
