Questionable statement at best. BEFORE the American electorate debates that question, consider the following impeachable offenses that were NOT followed up on:
Richard M. Nixon, WATERGATE
Ronald W. Reagan, IRAN/CONTRA
George W. Bush, IRAQ WAR, NSA WARRANTLESS SURVEILLANCE, GUANTANAMO BAY DETENTION CAMP
AFTER those issues cleaned up, POTUS Obama can be reviewed for impeachable actions in office.

You may want to read up on Lyndon Johnson and Billy Sol Estes. Say what you want about Nixon, but he at least did the right thing and stepped down before dragging the country through impeachment proceedings.

Read very much history? At his worst the present POTUS not in the same league of corruption as many others. Just more publicized. And calling someone names in response to a difference of opinion just indicates how weak one's position is.

Point taken re: Johnson/Sol Estes. Nixon could STILL have been impeached after resigning the Presidency under the 25th Amendment until Ford gave him a blanket pardon.

What heat, what kitchen? After your initial post all you've said is the same basic thing repeatedly. You do vary the insults and name-calling though.

It seems that you have only mentioned Republicans. One would think that you are a highly partisan Democrat. You must have selective memory because you failed to mentioned the Clinton Administration. Let's see, in Arkansas we had the conflicts of interest with Hillary at the Rose Law firm getting state business from Gov. Bill.

We had Troopergate, where Ark. State Troopers were used to procure various ladies of the evening for Gov. Bill. We had Whitewater land dealings. When the Clintons arrived in D.C., we had the White House Travel Office firings, in which Pres. Bill fired the travel office staff , using office theft as the reason. Then he replaced them with Clinton allies from Arkansas. Clinton said that he would find a way to pay the fired employees' legal bills if they were not guilty. All charges were later dropped, and they are still waiting for Ex-President Bill to pay their legal fees.

Ken Starr investigated the Whitewater land deals while Clinton was in office, and this is how Monica Lewinsky popped up. So Clinton WAS impeached , not for sex, but for lying to the Grand Jury. Of course, we had the possibly suspicious death of Vince Foster , who was working on the Whitewater investigation for the Clintons. Clinton aides illegally entered Foster's office right after his death, and removed all files.

I am inclined to believe Englebert Freferdeemer's viewpoint that this is one of, if not the most corrupt administrations ever. My reasoning comes from the FACT that this Obama administration is straight out of the Daley machine in Chicago.

The Daley political machine has run Chicago for decades, and has been tainted with corruption for about 90 years. In Richard Daley's 1989 mayoral campaign, the main advisors included David Axelrod and Rahm Emanuel. Those two came to Washington with Obama. He is from the Chicago Daley machine. He is a Chicago politician. If you don't know what that means, look up Chicago Daley political machine.

I AM a liberal Democrat. Per the title of this thread urging that POTUS Obama be impeached, I intentionally did not mention Clinton because he ALREADY HAD BEEN impeached and tried. My point was that I could cite 3 other Presidents who could/would/should be impeached and were not. I overlooked Johnson and Billy Sol Estes pointed this out to me. No Presidency is perfect--never will be. The largest factor in exposing current Presidential malfeasance is extensive media coverage. Engelbert seems to feel the Obama presidency is unique in that corruption and malfeasance never occurred before and never will again.

I got a different read on Englebert. I would think that since he stated that this was the "most" corrupt administration in history, that he is comparing it to other less corrupt administrations. The word "most" seems to me to be a comparison with more than one. "More" would be a comparison with one other. Maybe I am wrong.
