You must be black! By the way you use slang even when typing. And healthcare isn't free. You'll pay for it one way or another. Maybe not today but in the end you guys will regret it. Luckily I am healthy because I refuse to purchase healthcare with his name on it. I would rather pay the $95 fine at tax time than to pay over $500 a month for a family plan.

No I don't discriminate. I hate all worthless lazy people equally. If you don't have a job, get of your a$$ and get one and PAY for your OWN healthcare. I didn't sign up to pay for yours and my family too.

I remember that. I also vaguely remember when gas was less than .50 a gallon.

It's people like 'Obama the Man' that got us into this mess. The world is full of them. Maybe we need another big asteroid to start everything all over again.

Obama has done everything he can to shut the oil business down. The only production that is up (that he keeps lying about and pretending it is due to him) is production on PRIVATE lands. Go down to my homestate and talk to the oil workers there. you'll get a true picture of how this p.o.s. is stifling oil production. He is despicable.

Yes, that was the cost when Bush took office. It didn't take long for the cost to dramatically increase though.

The price of one gallon of regular gas stayed between .26 and .36 from 1948 to 1973. It averaged .31 during the 2 years and 10 months that Kennedy was President. Adjusted for inflation, that .31 represents over $2.00 in today's dollars.

My how we forget that it got over 4.00 while he was in office and also while he was in office a lot of CEO's got rich off his big bank bail outs...Compare apples to oranges all you want but Bush was no better than what we have now.

Lies and out of context statistics used to do so. This is a good ploy to confuse Americans and place blame on one party or the other. It goes a lot deeper than just gasoline prices changing due to the POTUS. Take into consideration economy, technology that allows for less gas usage, and the state of the global economy.

When Bush took office gas prices averaged 1.45. The National Average rose to 4.12 in August of 08 before the stagnant economy and demand caused it to drop. When the economy rebounded gas prices rise but under Obama the National average hasn't passed 4.00. Easy to look this up.

It is easy to get a biased opinion that uses statistics that are only partly correct. You do understand this tactic that is used ALL THE TIME, right?? You are using national averages, that's great! But, you are leaving out any information that relates to HOW those averages came about. If you want to use these numbers to put another political party down, use ALL information. Easy to comprehend this.

My stats came from AAA. Not real sure what their political agenda is but the next time I break down on the side of the road and have to call them I will ask. Also, I was just simply stating facts. Wasn't putting either down as I'm pretty sure the President has zero control over gas prices.

Then why tie a presidents name to a gasoline price? You're correct, there is very little to no relevance.
