My family and I recently moved to this area a few months ago and we are looking for a Baptist Church. Can any of you recommend one where the members are friendly?

First Christian Church, they'll make you feel so welcome! It's right behind the Round Tables off Tusculum Blvd.

You are better off trying to make Christian friends and practice at home or theirs. Corruption of the religion IS HERE. Not saying there aren't good people in churches. Just saying that modern day Christianity, for the most part, is far from the true practices. Good luck on your search!

i dont go regular, but i have went to a little baptist church off buckingham road. it's a little brick church on the left about a mile out past the great big church on the left. i had never been there before, & when i went i rode my bike. after it was over, four or five little old ladies was over standing by my motorcycle while i talked to a couple friends. i talked to them for about 20 minutes, & the little old ladies was still over there just looking at it. i walked over & they said they wasn't going anywhere until they heard it run. i started it up & it was loud, turned my blue led lights on & they was so tickled. everyone there shock my hand and asked me to come back. that is the friendliest church i have ever seen. i plan on going back sometime, very nice people. i'm not a big time church goer by any means, & they made me feel welcome.

I went to a Church out Greeneville one time and all people did was stare at me. No one ever even spoke to me. I felt more like a suspect than a visitor. Don't know the name of the church but I remember that it looked like a log cabin.

I tried Tri-Cities Baptist in Gray Tn. It has to be the most arrogant and unfriendly church I have tried.

If studying my bible at home with no fellowship gives me the results you have,I'll stay in church.

Amazing that people put low expectations on themselves and higher ones on others.

When you get done jabbering, dawgdoo, give me evidence, not hear say, that god is even real? You believe what was written in a book thousands of years ago. Have you got a call, text, email, anything from anyone in heaven saying its real? I want solid evidence? Not what you're taught to believe. Evidence!
