This company is ridiculous. Nobody that works there enjoys their jobs and talks about everyone they do business with. A poor pitiful excuse for a representation of a business.

Go to Security Finance....those girls are awesome. As long as you tell the truth and answer the phone, they will work with you any way they can. They understand that people go thru hard times and don't treat anyone disrespectfully. They are all nice girls, clean, educated and friendly. No big fat fingers in there! Lol!

A lot of loan officers on here acting bad. You guys don't make that much money and I am sure you have been late on a bill. If someone takes a loan and don't pay garnish them not harrass for your bonus. Cost the company nothing because the person getting garnished has to the lawer and court cost. Act bad to someone else because most of you are chicken s@#t! Thanks have a nice day!

I've had them come to my house to out of line and I've been trying to pay them partial payments but they are refusing it. They said they don't take partial payments. I've been out of wrk, but at least the other loan companies I borrowed from are taking my partial payments. And I'm no deadbeat either. I think this company needs to be shut down or at least investigated. I try to pay my bills and jobs are hard to find out there right now.

So, who's the victim? The one not getting paid or the one trying to duck out on prearranged agreements. I'd dare bet you were guaranteeing them you'd never be behind when you got the money. Sorry but I am a bit biased since I work in collections.

I had legally filed bankruptcy and these j@ck@$$ purposely went to my neighbors house to put a paper on their door saying I needed to pay or they were taking legal action. My house is. CLEARLY marked so their butts almost broke the bankruptcy privacy laws! Stay away from them. I should also add I was a good client forbocer 3 years. I paid on time or early every loan I had, 4 of them, I paid everyone off except the last one.

If you paid on time why would you file bankruptcy? And next why if you filed bankruptcy would they need to come to your home? Sounds to me like you are full of crap! People want to holler privacy laws and creditors are breaking the law.... I dont think yall know what the LAW is! When you owe a debt do you not think it is against the law not to pay! Of course everybody wants to take the easy way out and file with an attorney! But real people PAY THIER BILLS!!!!!!

When you tell them you have filed and give them the case number the have to, BY LAW, to stop trying to contact you for payment. I had other major financial missuses other than the loan I had to pay. I was unable to pay the last 2 months prior to filing so yea I kninsa know what I'm talking about.

I use to work in finance and did field calls and collections.there are correct ways to handle business whether it is the first visit or the hundredth. U don't get physical threatening or violent. If they don't pay u collect collateral or go to court...clients need to call and inform creditors ,usually there are options to help like renewals

yes i have had dealings with them and i would rather owe the irs than covington credit. i too have fallen on hard times and they call and threaten me and ask me when i will have a payment, i told them i don't know since i got laid off and run out of unemployment and just recently got diagnosed with a heart condition and they keep wanting me to come down there, what are they going to do cut off my fingers?

Has anyone had any dealings with Covington credit? A friend of mine has a loan there and come into some hard times and is late on his loan. I know before you say it. But there are a lot of people going through that right now. And of course they will come to your house and try to collect a payment. But there is a right way and a wrong way to do it. A man from there came to his house we know his name is Cody and were pretty sure his last name is Davis came while he was in the bathroom. He heard a loud knock and was going to the door when his door almost came down from the beating on it, hard enough to put dents in the medal door. And the man outside said Iím fixing to come through this door. When he answered the door Cody was standing there all red faced mad. And asked in a smart__ tone when he was going to make his payment. He told him Friday and as he was shutting the door Cody shoved the door into him hurting his hand. And looked at him like he was going to do something to him. As he was leaving he was calling him names. People two Apartments over heard him. Is he crazy or on drugs or both? The police told him he could charge him with assault and vandalism. I told him he needs to talk to a lawyer. What do you think?

This isn't your light bill. You borrowed money. Pay it back! Period! He may have been upset, but it's his responsibility to collect. No excuse for his actions, and sounds like he was out of line(and your story sounds overexagerated btw.) It wouldn't have happened if you were responsible.
First, they clearly stated this is a friends loan and not theirs. Second, They never said they weren't paying it back. They actually said they would pay it Friday. So, why are you yelling at them like they are trying to get out of a loan? And third, Being responsible might have nothing to do with it. People do go through some rough times, I know I've been late on a loan once due to a job loss. Did I pay it? Yes. But it does happen, not everyone has a high paying job, if they did, there wouldn't be as many people taking out loans. As for the Cody person, the story might have more truth than you think. I have heard a lot of complaints against him.
