Covington Credit

[Wondering]

Has anyone had any dealings with Covington credit? A friend of mine has a loan there and come into some hard times and is late on his loan. I know before you say it. But there are a lot of people going through that right now. And of course they will come to your house and try to collect a payment. But there is a right way and a wrong way to do it. A man from there came to his house we know his name is Cody and were pretty sure his last name is Davis came while he was in the bathroom. He heard a loud knock and was going to the door when his door almost came down from the beating on it, hard enough to put dents in the medal door. And the man outside said I’m fixing to come through this door. When he answered the door Cody was standing there all red faced mad. And asked in a smart__ tone when he was going to make his payment. He told him Friday and as he was shutting the door Cody shoved the door into him hurting his hand. And looked at him like he was going to do something to him. As he was leaving he was calling him names. People two Apartments over heard him. Is he crazy or on drugs or both? The police told him he could charge him with assault and vandalism. I told him he needs to talk to a lawyer. What do you think?

i've known the ladies there for a while - very nice - this guy is fairly new to the greeneville office - saw the new guy only once - looked like an out of control bounty hunter or un- employed bail bondsman .... drives an un-marked - hand-me-down ford - like an auction block ex patrol car --- you don't like the treatment --- call covington's home office ( google the number ) and complain - there are laws that cover consumer debt - your barney fife must have slept through the class

charge him assault. the main office will do nothing.

This isn't your light bill. You borrowed money. Pay it back! Period! He may have been upset, but it's his responsibility to collect. No excuse for his actions, and sounds like he was out of line(and your story sounds overexagerated btw.) It wouldn't have happened if you were responsible.

No that's how it happen, his neighbors even heard it. Now as for the responsibility part, he has always been, and like a lot of people in the times it happens. Try reading a News Paper; I think he knows it not his light bill. You must work for a Company like this, Oh wait; you may not with your spelling.

He works for the Greeneville office

charge him with assault and the company can also be held liable for his actions. I sure if you see a lawyer and have him talk to Covington they will work it out with you

This guy has a job to do,you didnt say how many times he's came nocking on the door.I would say by his actions several.And its probably an every month thing.His actions are BS but would not have happened if the bill was paid; or he would have picked up the phone and spoken with some one at the office.They gave you money ,at least be a grown up and tell them you cant pay it back.

P.S covington does not visit people at home unless they are at least 30+ days late.

When they arrested him and they get sued I'm sure they will know better than sending someone to beat up old people. You must be one of them.

Well for one it was a friend of mine. For another he is disabled and the thug that came to his house is young and big. But if he comes back like he did the other day it will not be good for sure. There is ways to make size the same in things like this. So if it was you that day go on over there and see if you’re really that tuff big boy.one thing for sure, it’s better to be a deadbeat thin a useless a$$hole like you.

Being a deadbeat is being useless, stupid. At least he's helping society. Next time borrow from an individual and see how they react when you're hiding behind your blinds.

It was not me,and yes im an asshole.The thing is people being assholes is not what has made our country a joke,being a dead beat and not paying your bills is.Ive said enough and besides dont you need to watch the mail box for your government check, and then you can let him borrow some money so the big bad bill collector will go away.
