My reply was to a troll that is always rude and inconsiderate. Any time I comment, that poster (and at least one other) makes remarks about me knowing everything or me lying about whatever I've said. If you will go back and read my comments you will see "yep's" reply to me, which isn't necessary and is disrespectful on this thread.

His paralegal should be making phone calls as soon as respects are paid and he's laid to rest. Give it a few days and call the courthouse if you are close to your court date...:-(
Your advice is going to get someone hurt or in trouble one of these days. What gives you the authority to make such a statement?

Um... Nothing I said was wrong. Anytime a small business owner passes, you give the employees time to pay their respects, gather themselves, regroup... And then be as understanding and courteous as you can be when asking what comes next. It's advice. It's not the law. No one is entitled to take my advice. That is simply what I would do if I were in their situation. Because their attorney has passed, the courts will have to allow time for changes to occur... Read up on some legal literature Booger and maybe you'll see where my suggestion came from. ;) I do not "know it all"... However, I am smart enough to do my own research and to recall what I have learned both with my education, and from my lifetime full of experiences. I do hope you are having a great day!

I don't think you're quite qualified to offer legal advice. You seem to have a definitive answer for everything that is mentioned on this forum. Aren't you a CNA? BTW. Don't believe that everything on your computer is accurate information.

No, I am NOT a CNA. I did get my certification years ago. Moved from that to labotomy, then into a office nurse internship position... That isn't my area of interest tho... So I am not now, nor will I ever be again in the medical field as long as I can help it. Try again.(oh... And I do have other avenues of research other than the Internet.) ;)

Oh I see. Hanging at the HandleBar qualifies you to offer free legal advice. You may have a lot of these folks here fooled and snowed, but not me. You're full of crap.

Funny you should mention A JOB I had. Hanging there wasn't common for me. Working there was my thing. This was a common conversation for Tony and I. Thanks for bringing it up. Gave me a smile to think back on those talks. I'm gonna miss those talks. I do feel so heart broken for his family.

The most disrespectful thing ever is to start a topic on the deceased, very very classless.

By that, you mean that he was the attorney who served the "other side" in a case against you... And you lost...? That was his job. And IF you had of went to him first and paid him to do his job... You may have came out of the situation feeling differently.
There are people that just simply do not like others, there isn't any need to be disrespectful, especially when their family and friends are grieving.

I agree, my dear. Now you understand how I felt when your bud berated the deceased on the thread about the Hispanic drowning. We are all human & make mistakes. Sometimes decisions have grave consequences (no pun intended). Sometimes differences cause ill will among the living & those who have passed but there is no need in being cruel while the family hurts.

I also heard his already ill wife was hospitalized. So sad

Sometimes you simply have to pick your battles... I'm not sure which other poster you're referring too tho..(not all are truly buds, just try to be nice bc some can get ruthless) I'm afraid that this family will all fall apart as health issues are already present. His wife certainly cannot handle this stress. But she was his rock, so I hope she will make it thru this.

Didn't they also lose a daughter right before they moved here? So much tragedy for his wife. Dunno how she handles it.

I am also concerned for his mother. Loosing her husband of 60 years, then her son.:*-(

I do believe this is the greatest picture of how closely knit family can be. Tragic.
