Blond goes all the way to the hypothalamus with you doesn't it? With a topix account SUCH AS YOURS, it's green isn't it?(look to the left side of your post). The moderators post's are purple (are you staying with me), they sometimes comment on topix, and yes I have conversed with them, as have many other people, so no. I'm not special (unless you are talking about something else) then yes I am!:)
Now if you would have told her blonde goes all the way to her cerebral cortex then you might have appeared to have known what you were talking about. Hypothalamus? Not so much.

Not that he or anyone else ever owes ME an explanation on here, but I take Camp Creeper at his word. He offered an olive branch and if ya'll don't wish to accept it or his explanation, that's your choice. Frankly, I do take people at their word and probably do trust them a little too much. I just got burned by some biotches that I thought were friends on here. I'm not amused either.

There is a different view of the slavery issue regarding the U.S. Civil War. Underlying the popular states' rights v. federal rights is a basic economic issue. Money and property. Property in this case being millions of dollars invested in slaves in the slave-holding states. The paranoid slave-holding states saw Lincoln, the abolitionist cause, and non-slave statehood proponents as future ECONOMIC threats to their well-being. If the slaves were freed, then economic ruin would follow. Who, then, picks the cotton, etc? The nullification gambit did not fly; therefore the slave-holding states trotted out the old state's rights issue as a convenient high-minded excuse. The monied class did do a good job of selling it to the poor folks who did not have slaves but did most of the fighting for the Confederacy..
When I initially brought up the subject of slavery being a main cause of the Civil War, Mr. Bird, CRETIN 56, AND Dr. Wu pointedly advised me that I was in error. After I explained my view (see above), no one responded. Just wondering if the silence indicates assent or dissent.

FOD I absolutely 100% agree with you about the pedophiles and animal abusers. It's has been proven that serial killers and sadists started out at a young age torturing animals. As for pedophiles? They should be completely and permanently removed from society. I know a Psychiatrist who told me that they cannot be cured of their condition. They continue to abuse children even while in therapy.
I agree. You can't cure these dirtbags. Did you see where the azzhole in NC threw his own little 3 month old baby girl on the ground? I do not understand people. He would be the first one I'd like to see get himself beat to death.

I have had a very busy day and have not had the opportunity to post until now. I accept your olive branch and I appreciate your response. I could not imagine the turmoil someone such as yourself has endured in the midst of a calamity such as what you have described. I completely understood your reference to "ammo" and did not realize someone was going to troll through this thread to stir up trouble for you or any other registered account on this forum. As for the troll account that just passed through instigating all of this mischief, well, cease and desist is all I have to say. I do not believe in feeding a troll account or answering anyone except a registered user. Have a good day.Peace to you as well.

I can only answer for myself. I found your information to be fascinating and wanted to know more. However, I did not respond due to the fact that I had a pillow with my name on it - simple as that. Thank you for your response and I appreciate the discourse, just not as knowledgeable as some of the local folks on here. I appreciate all of the opinions that are given in regard to this topic.

Sorry, can we start fresh. I stated ( in my opinion) slavery was not the main cause of the war. Did you too come down on the side of it being an economic issue? I know there are very strong arguments on both sides that could be in my mind correct. I just happen to fall on the side that Lincoln did not and was not going to allow the Union to be broken apart under any circumstances. I think it was mainly an economic issue for the South. But there you go, without the slaves there would be no cheap labor to work the fields. So we are back to the slavery thing again. It seems to be an argument no one can really win or should win in my opinion. It's just what side you choose to side with. Mr. Lincoln did an extraordinary job keeping the Union together under the struggles at hand and his melancholy. Next to Thomas Jefferson he is in my opinion the second greatest president. I could discuss history ad nauseam. I do appreciate your opinion on the subject.

Dang, are you the new kind of American or what? Get a grip on yourself for heaven's sake. You shouldn't curse God that way if you are a real american, or at least I wouldn't think you would want to do that on here. Them mods get upset when a violation is committed. Don't feel so darned threatened by a registered poster either. We ain't all bad..well at least not all the time anyway.

I just try not to cos' it ain't right to act that way, you know what I mean? Whatever is going on in your noggin' right now will be ok soon. I am sure of it.You've got to have faith..

You are so right Cretin.. this is just Topix.. not life, although by the looks of all the single women that post on here all night, this may be all they have in their social lives. (GRIN) I'm old and sit home most of the time myself, but I still think my social life is more active than theirs. (GRIN)
