So by this analogy, you are saying everything "is wrong" because evolution is not right? Because "infact" evolution has been discredited....which is what most of us knew all alone...go figure.

<quoted text>Evolution has never been discredited and it is not a theory it is a fact just as strong as gravity. The part which is a theory is man from monkey and that one you can take or leave. We produce stronger animals, stronger fruits and vegetables and we know that people who live on different continents and in different regions are all different. It is all evolution and there is no discrediting it, it is just there like the air you breath and the water you drink. If you were to take a tribe of natural blond people from the U.S. and moved them to Africa they would evolve from generation to generation even without breeding with the locals into a very dark skinned dark haired tribe of people, that is evolution. Nothing scary about it, we can produce those results in the laboratory with smaller animals with shorter life spans in just a few generations. The people who believe God produced things that do not evolve through evolution are spitting in the wind.
Still the same species though! Noboby has turned into anything other than what God created it to be! I still haven't seen any proof of evolution today! Why can't scientist recreate evolution in a lab? The human cell is so small, but so complex, and the chance of it happening by chance is"zero"! Your T.V has a better chance of creating itself, than the human cell does. Good luck on your adventure.

no what I'm saying is exactly what I said. Think about it. If evolution is right, we are animals. Correct? Now, what do animals do? Whatever they damn well please....correct? If a wolf wants to kill another animal, it kills it. If a wolf wants to kill another wolf it kills it. If the alpha male wants to "mate" with a female, it does just that - there is no dating...no asking (-; ...it does what it wants. Shouldn't humans do the same....we are JUST animals according to evolution. Nothin.g is wrong for us animals if evolution is right

. We can eat our young and leave the weak (aka elderly, sick, disabled, stupid) to die. Correct? Law of the jungle....survival of the fittest. If evolution is right, nothing is wrong.

The issue that many Christians have is that they automatically assume that "evolution" means monkey to man. That is not the case. That theory is a small part of what evolution stands for. Evolution is simply derived from evolve or adapt. The other poster is correct. Evolution happens all the time. Whether it be a genetic abnormality that allows a species to survive in a new environment or an undiscovered ability, survival of the fittest allows those to thrive and reproduce. Therefor the species has evolved and that abnormality or ability is the reason. It is not a knock on God to say that creatures of the earth evolve. It is simply fact.

I have to ask myself, What will I become next? I've been around a pretty good while and the only thing I've noticed that I'm evolving into is a very old man. I know some of my older great grand parents have told me stories of their great grand parents which can go back a few hundred years. They never did mention to me that they didn't act like humans or swung from trees. I guess what I'm asking is, how long does this process seem to take? Will I ever get to see it live? Do people just walk down the road and boom turn into an animal? So many questions I have.

Why don't you spend your time on the real gravity abusers?" I have never floated and I am raising my kids to know the dangers of floating. You try it once and next thing you know you are hovering all day without a job.

Three freshman-engineering students were sitting around talking between classes, when one brought up the question of who designed the human body.
One of the students insisted that the human body must have been designed by an electrical engineer because of the perfection of the nerves and synapses.
Another disagreed, and exclaimed that it had to have been a mechanical engineer who designed the human body. The system of levers and pulleys is ingenious.
"No," the third student said, "you're both wrong. The human body was designed by an architect. Who else but an architect would have put a toxic waste line through a recreation area?"

Uh are religious people supposed to curse like that? And Noah's ark absolutely DID NOT happen, if it did there would only be one population of people with the same physical characteristics, there are many and on different continents! Come on think, don't be scared. We all survived! You can see us! Don't let a book make you ignore something you can see!

Your argument falls apart when you look at it in light of Evolution as well. If we all came from the same branch of the evolutionary tree, then wouldn't we all have the same physical characteristics? The basket of life is supposed to be in Africa, so why don't we all look like Africans? The fact that we look different isn't a good argument against the story of Noah. Sorry.

Can someone work this one out for me then (using evolutionary theory please)

Let's look at babies. We are the most advanced animal on this planet, yet we don't become self-sufficient until we are around 15 years old (some of us earlier, some later), yet horses that are obviously less evolved than us are self-sufficient in mere hours. This seems counter intuitive to the evolutionary explination to how we came to be, and that makes me wonder. If we are the end all and be all to evolution on this planet, why are our young the most helpless of basically all baby animals on this planet.

I was going to call somebody on here a "maroon" once but I figured they wouldn't get it and I'd get slammed for spelling "moron" wrong.

It comes down to the thought process and lack of instincts. Horses learn all the need to survive in a few hours. They don't need to learn how to read, write, work, and do things to survive to the extent we do.
