What if all the rich people that own businesses that employee most of the population and pay 90% of the taxes just suddenly quit and retired. Who would you get mad at then? Check out the book called "Atlas Shrugged"

The key word you said there is EARNED. People usually have more because they work hard for it. There's no incentive to work hard and better yourself if the gov is going to take it from you.

1 wealthy job creator equals 300 jobs. 0 wealthy job creator equals 0 jobs. Do you want everyone on welfare, Chris? Is that the real agenda here? The radical liberal "master plan"?

Back in the day when individuals could learn a trade, people created their own jobs. They repaired things, they made things. Hell Cuba is still running on 1949 cars and we can't even find the oil filter in our new car. Now we have products made so cheaply or by upgrading, made all accessories obsolete, they can be tossed into another new land fill we'll have to pay for. Now we have a disposable economy to go with our disposable manufacturing. Next will be our disposable planet.

"Our" wealthy job creators who have had tax cuts and tax paid subsidies to make them create jobs for over 11 years are still, too "afraid " to create jobs here. The won't invest profits back into factories they have or increase workers pay but they will triple their own salaries before they declare bankruptcy and break legally binding contracts to pay employee pension funds. "Job Creators" fork over billions without fear to create jobs in third world countries, that could be devastated by earth quakes, storms or political or religious revolts. They don't care foreign workers sewing apparel for Walmart are packed into sweat shops like sardines or that they will die in a fire because the exits are blocked or locked. They left American to avoid those safety regulations. All they care about is making cheap inferior products for those low income Americans who earn their stores billions while low paid Walmart workers are forced to live off Food Stamps.

It's not about Unions here or our fragile economy. The wealthy job creators MOVE AMERICAN JOBS to other countries because they can pay the workers there 99.cents or $1.35 for 12 hours a day, 7 days a week. So can they dump toxic chemicals into the streams and rivers like they did in China, India and Mexico. Your worthless job creators aren't about loyalty to Americans or their own country's economy. They are only loyal to one thing GREED. We know who is keeping who on welfare, by refusing to pay Americans a living wage.

What would be your motivation for creating a business or company? Surely not to make money or become successful in your endeavor? You have the initial idea, you provide the financial outlay for start up costs, you pay all the taxes, licenses and operating expenses, you work hard to bring your vision to fruition then what? You divide all the profits up evenly between yourself and your employees? You take all the risks, jump all the hurdles, make all the sacrifices then it's share and share alike? Wow, when you start your fictional business, I want to come work for you so I can get half of your profits without any risk on my part. Sounds like a great deal to me and I don't need to frequent the propaganda websites of either political party-ideology to understand the very basics of business.

Don't forget you have to share with all the people that don't work as well. They need their fair share too because we all should have the same amount!

Oh damn, I forgot about all of them. Yes, whether they help to bake the pie or not, let's not forget to give them their "fair" slice too. And people wonder why there aren't more businesses being created in this "gimme, gimme, gimme" minded society. No wonder there's so little motivation on the part of the potential new entrepreneur.

What if the rich person you work so hard for decided that he had plenty of money and just quit and retired? Better yet, what if they all just quit and retired? Taxes would stop, the government would stop, and capitalism would effectively stop.

Really? How many employees does it take to keep up a welfare recipient? At least the job creator has done something to get to the position he/she is in. From what the other threads have said there about to be a lot of able bodies people taking the welfare route. How many of the 300 does it take to keep them up?
