I would hate to be a kid these days. It's no wonder they are all hooked on drugs, they just don't have the freedom we had as kids to experience life for themselves.

Just seems so militant on them. Apparently what the government thinks is best for them isn't working, because drugs & video games is about all they know how to do.

I got a 4.0 grade average. But can you change a tire? Ah NO!

You think kids today don't have enough freedom???

Are you insane, blind or just plain stupid?

Parents today buy 13-year-olds an iphone and a new car and then turn them loose all day to do as they please. Parents today will buy their under age children beer. In most households the children have become the masters, because parents want to be their child's best friend rather than being their parent.

We need to be teaching children how to become responsible adults. And that means paying your own way.

Parents absolutely should not be buying their kids anything: cellphones, a car, a television or paying for college tuition. Absolutely not, let the kid take care of his or her own expenses.

The only thing a kid should be allowed to get for free is a place to stay and something to eat, and when the kid turns 18 they get kicked out of the house. Pull yourself up by your own bootstraps dummy.

This is why people no longer have a work ethic, because children are handed everything in life, and so they learn an attitude of entitlement. This is why President Commie Darkie Muslim was elected, because young people wanted gifts and welfare, so they voted for a black guy who could give them government checks for the rest of their lives.
