Physically not holding yourself to the standard you once did. Either in the way you dress or your physical composition.

No. Why would a change in geography alter how you take care of yourself?

Its not the geography it's the attitude and the culture. I want to fry everything now and talk shit while I do it.

For the record... I never said I didn't like it here or that I had let myself go.

OMG TOO FUNNY on the timing. I woke up this morning just CRAVING fried pork tenderloin. I've also been craving fried chicken. I cannot explain why as I generally don't enjoy fried things. I reminisced over the great fried chicken my mamaw used to make when I was a little girl. Funny others have had the "fry daddy sensation". I pork up too easily so a fry daddy will not be under my tree.:(

Okay, now I'm hungry! So, is there ANYWHERE in Greene County that serves really great fried chicken?!?!? Anyone had it at Gladys and Ron's (as in Gladys Knight) in Atlanta?(-:

Heck, I haven't fried chicken in 25 years I bet. lol I never could make it as good as my Mommas, and then, I stopped eating chicken, so my husband has to settle for KFC if he wants anything resembling fried chicken. lol

I find it so amusing that this turned into a discussion about food! I haven't found a whole lot of good restaurants in the Greeneville area. I recently found a good place for Mexican though!

@FriendOfDog

Subjecting hubby to KFC? Now that IS cruel, my friend!(-:

@BaileytonForNow

You're lucky you found a good restaurant here. Honestly, I haven't found ANY I'd say were really GOOD. Huge portions and heavy on the "not so healthy" stuff mostly. Apparently, that's what's in demand locally though. So, transplant, if I may be so bold to ask, are you actually from another part of the country. The reason for my inquiry is I've seen folks post here who say they're "transplants" only to reveal themselves to be from a county or so over.(-:

I used to get it many years ago, when I could eat like a hog & stay skinny, at a diner out of state. I try to avoid learning how to make "heart attacks in a can" so I have not learned. All I can tell you is it was breaded, fried, served with mash potatoes & gravy & was OMG GOOOOOD!

Paula Deen probably has a recipe. Now I'm hungry & missing the good old days of skinny while gorging! Lol
