Debbie has been gone 2 years now. Sometimes it seems like yestersay, and sometimes it seems forever. That was the only child I had. It's left me lonely, bitter, cold and depressed. She was all the family I had. I want to brush her hair again. I want to feel her kiss my cheek and give me a hug. She was a graduate of SGHS and ETSU. She worked at GVDC. We aren't suppossed to bury our children, they're supposed to bury us. She wasn't perfect, but I wouldn't have given her up for any amount of money. Why not me instead of her? There are days when I'm bitter, I do that rather than cry. If tears would have brought her back, she never would have gone. It was unexpected. Her Daddy had already passed away so I had this to go through alone. Friends and family turn away from you, they don't offer any support. My heart is so broken. She was like her Moma, she had a temper, but she could be so funny. If I could have her back for just 5 minutes, to touch her, to hug her and tell her how very much I loved her. She's buried beside her Daddy, where she wanted to be. All I ever lived for lay in those two plots--side by side.

I am so sorry for your loss. My Aunt lost her son at age 18. It is still hard for her. It's hard for me and I was young when he died. If you have a Facebook, I will gladly give her your info so that you two may talk. Please do not put your info on here though. You can register and send me a private message and I will get it to her. Everyone needs someone to talk to. It helps to have someone who understands because they have the same experiences. I hope that time will help you heal from the hurt to a level that is bearable. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

It is possible, but as long as you ignore them, most go away. Hope you are enjoying this rainy weather.:)

I just read your post and my heart breaks for you...I can only imagine your pain and I wish I had some brilliant thoughts or information for you, but I don't. GA peach is right.. only another mother who has lost a child can truly understand your grief and pain. I would suggest that you join a grief group and perhaps then, you will be able to help alleviate your pain some. I don't think a parent ever gets over losing a child.. I know I wouldn't.. I guess you just have to try to find some way to go on. Perhaps there is a way you can begin to do something good for other people that might help you to be able to move on a little bit. I know this lady from my home town, that has just started a group that helps people that don't have money bury their children. Not saying this is what you should do but perhaps if you were able to get involved with something meaningful it might help. I really don't know. You have my deepest sympathy.

My Aunt lost her son at age 18 due to a car wreck. It's been 18 years I believe.... It truly is still hard. Then her husband, who helped raised that son, lost his son that she helped to raise, at age 18...about 10 years ago, Due to a bicycle accident. That marriage endured more than it's share of heartache and heartbreak. I have a friend that gave birth to her son, and lost him very soon after due to birth defects... Each of them deal with this differently, but watching their struggle is hard. I cannot imagine the pain. It is certain that everyone will die, but it doesn't make sense to see a parent bury their child... I'm sure that FoD is advising you down a healthy path. There is power in numbers and the strength of knowing you are not alone may help in healing. Even if it's volunteering somewhere just to give you someone to speak with... Don't let yourself be alone.

That was her husband of six years, there wasn't any children. he takes a dozen roses to her grave every Sat. Most of her relatives don't where their own brother and neice are buried. At the funeral home they acted liked uneducated morons with no class. I wish they had stayed at home. The way the floor moved when they walked I think the funeral home wished they had stayed home too. You can't make a silk purse from a sow's ear. and they were definiately sows. If Debbie's Daddy had still been alive he would have made part of them leave. But, what goes around, comes around. I hope. They made fun of people, wouldn't speak to people, like I said bunch of morons. All couldn't be there, they were in jail, I understood. If you do the crime, then you do the time. None have put a flower or visited the graves since, and it's right the at Greene Lawn on the Asheville Hwy. They stole his guns and other valuables out of his house after he died. Told you----MORONS. Let them go in now, that's mine now, I've got camereas everywhere. I WILL PROSECUTE, I know who did it. They knew wo much about what and what wasn't in the house. What they stole belong to me, that's when the trouble started, they just don't know all that I know yet. That's why I was proud of Debbie, she wouldn't have stolen anything. Of course, she wasn't raised in it. She'll always be my baby, and I'll never stop loving her, truly loving her. Not just what I could get off of her after her Daddy died. They didn't love her either or they woyuldn't have cheated her like they did and stolen from her.

Good morning my baby girl, I hope your are happy and smiling too. I know all your pain is gone. Spend time with your Daddy, you know how he adored you. And, on Gog, I did too. Give me your healing prayers. Give me friends that understand what I'm going through alone. I'm disablied, so I can drive. What friends I thought I had dropped me because I didn't party anymore, and I didn't laugh all the time the way I used to. Please give me something funny and I'll try to laugh. God help me.

Pay attention. THAT'S MY DEAD DEAUGHTER, THE ONLY CHILD I HAD. Watch the language you use when you are referring to my daughter. Instead of looking like you been hit by one freight train, you're going to look like yours was a head on collision. Now, you had better listen to this advice. She's gone, she's not coming back. I won't get to talk to her today, tomorrow or for the rest of my life. So, tone it down. Leave it alone inbred. Stupid people all over this town and country and ugly with it.

Leave me alone when it comrs to my daughter. She was all the family I had left, now that should give you a hint.. Don't even mention her name. She was my world. Getting mad didn't work, I want my baby back. And, I won't quit crying until I'm laying next to her.

I wouldn't clean your nasty looking hair and body for all of you. You sick bitch. Even your eyes look weird. For God sa'\ke, brush your hair. You want more, I can give plenty more. Don'r\t even mention my daughter, you aren't worth it. You ugly pig from hell. Debbie was beaufidul. She had thoses those blue eyes that were beautiful with long black lashes. Now say a ill word about my daughter. I've said the last good bye I'll ever get to say. I've hugged her for the last timr. Don't you think that's enough punishment for whst ever I did? I had to do sommething or I wouldn't suffer like this.
