Why does every store in town close early on christmas eve? It's the damn day before christmas! It makes it hard for people who haven't finished their shopping. You'd think in such a bad economy stores would stay open as much as possible when people are willing to buy. Ugh!

I agree. Those idiots that work retail should have to stay away from their families until the last possible minute until we get off our a$$es and decide to go buy something. I mean, what the hell have they been doing the last month that they can't stay all night? Who cares if their family has Christmas?

You're pathetic. I'm friggin glad the stores close early so employees can go home to be with their families. Work is important, but family is MORE important. Sounds like you're just another lazy ass procrastinator who waits till the last minute to run out and buy some last minute crappy gift.

I agree with you! I think every retail store and restaurant should have to stay open both Christmas Eve and Christmas day! The people that work at those places can celebrate the week after or something. If I wait until the last minute to shop, I should be able to run out to pick up last minute gifts and grab a quick bite while I am out. It is r ridiculous that they let these workers spend time with their loved ones!

It seems that you and I understand sarcasm, while others remain clueless for yet another year.

Bravo to Last Minute Moron and Grinch! My heart goes out to every last person who has to work instead of being with their families on these special holidays. If people don't have the heart to be understanding and don't want to celebrate these holidays then let them stay and work later hours, wow what selfishness that would show all of us that do want to home with our families. May you all have a Blessed Christmas and a Wonderful New Year too.

Htank you. I work retail. It's really hard to see my family this time of year. Stores and fast food should close early so people can spend time with their family. It's not the stores fault those lazy people wait til the last minute to go buy a silly gift. We have jjust as much right to see our families as they do. Christmas isn't about gifts it's about spending quality family time and jesus

Ok guys! I guess someone has to explain to "stupid" and the other "stupids" that are to ignorant to see sarcasm when it is there. Please calm down "stupid" cause the "last minute moron" and the "grinch" are on your team with this topic. They, i am sure, were just being sarcastic to the person who was really gripping about not being able to stay out late shopping cause they had not done their own stuff in time. I am sure that i am correct on the sarcasm that i read into what they were saying. I hope so.....

Ok guys!! I guess someone must tell them.....This is for "stupid" and all the other ignorant people who don't have a clue. The "last minute moron" and the "grinch" are on your team with this topic. They are, i am sure, just being sarcastic back to the person who was actually gripping about not being able to stay out late and do whatever they didn't get done.(knowing that Christmas is a yearly event, it is hard to imagine that one couldn't possibly be prepared the evening before.?) I am sure that i am correct on this guess as i did read complete sarcasm in what they said and how they were saying it.

I have worked extra hours at Christmas for over 30 years. Believe me, some people will wait until the last minute if it is at 3 o'clock or midnight. After one month of this rush, I am ready to go home to my family. Merry Christmas to all.

You would think that with 12 months of advance notice, that some dumbasses would have their shopping pretty much done and wouldnt have to wait till the last minute to bitch about others wanting to be with their families.. I do not work in retail, my career doesnt have the luxury of having holidays off but I feel for those who do have to put up with that crap..

i work retail and i dont see why people have to be so rude this time of year and wait til the last min and then they bit** and whine when what they came to get is gone well lazy don't wait til the last min. Everybody should know when you wait til the last min it's going to hard to find what you want and I just wish people would be more respectful of those who work in retail. When the store closes don't stay and take your time and still shop. check out those people have families to get home to too
