Down on Snapps Ferry across from Food City where Horsin Around used to be. Or Art Roth down near Nolichuckey School, he has A LARGE SELECTION of saddles, tack, bits, blankets, hats, coats, roped, conchos, etc....anything you need I promise. Hes in the phone book. And if you buy a trailer from Dale Hensley you better get the title (and yes you have to have one on a bigger nicer trailer) before you leave that day cause he probably dont have one.

Thank both of you I have found a very nice one, Believe it or not saddle and blanket for $100. Looks new at a pawn shop. Now I am in need of a ferrier, any suggestions?

I recommend Davey Green or Greg Miller for farrier services. And i would really inspect that saddle well, 100 bucks usually won't buy you a good saddle pad, jmo. On cheaper saddles you have to look at the trees, they are usually plastic or fiberglass, and the leather is thin and brittle. Alot of time the rigging and dees are cheaply made and can get you hurt or stuck out on a trail ride walking back. Art Roth carries quality good using tack and he inspects everything and is a quality person. he sells used good using saddles to.

At Jonesborugh Flee Mkt there is a man that sets up just about every Sunday and has some really nice saddles , some new and some gently used! There are several nice ones that are 125 and some that are more but I would go to him for anything you may need!

Art Roth is a good man. Always will go out of his way to make sure you get what you want and at a fair peice. His used saddles are also top notch; he works a lot on them to get them back to a near-new condition.
