Arrests continue today in a roundup started Monday of men and women who allegedly sell illegal drugs in Greene County. About 20 suspects were in custody as of Monday night, Sheriff Steve Burns said.

The ongoing undercover operation by the Third Judicial District Drug Task Force resulted in 60 charges filed against 50 individuals, according to a Sheriff's Department news release.

Charges filed range from offenses connected to the sale and delivery of prescription drugs and crack cocaine, to bribery and food stamp fraud, Burns said. The "major arrest operation" began Monday morning

You will get the names soon enough. Think... what good would it do to "blast" their names and let anyone who is associated with one or more of those names get a head start on running or getting rid of evidence. They are playing the name game with the ones they took in. They must have cut the doc a pretty nice deal and maybe some protective custody. I wouldn't want 50 angry crack dealing/smoking pill heads pissed off at me.
Pillheads / crackheads don't hold grudges. Their every thought, every minute of the day revolves around scoring more dope, stealing, and begging / lying / scamming relatives for money. They need gas money, they need to pay their light bill, they need rent money, they need cigarette money..........any relatives - no matter how distant - heard these stories? My solution is to throw the dealers in a pit and bury them.

So your solution doesn't start with the problem itself, only a piece. If the drugs were to.. stop.. it would mean that the U.S.A. finally has satisfied and happy citizens. Or, it would mean that law-enforcement worldwide has stepped up the game and stopped trafficking into the U.S.A, as well as we have stopped all manufacturing here. That would include everything down to your nice night time cough syrup or your legally obtained nerve pills.

Now, all that money that is no longer coming in from those who are arrested, have their bank accounts drained (of the dealers and big boys), paying their fines and court costs, paying their probation fees, and of coarse paying to reinstate their drivers licenses.. All this money will be missed by the "law abiding" people who work that very field. Where will their pay checks come from? Not to mention the healthcare field taking a big hit from no narcs. Addicts keep people in jobs, and those people know it.

No my friend you are the idiot. Where in my post did you read I said it was Obamas fault?

I said everybody wins with these prescription drugs, including Obama. The meaning of that is tax money, there is no taxes on the sell of crack. If you're not smart enough to comprehend these post, then don't reply to them. I think you have FNDS.

If you are so damn blind to the world around you, that you think this "pill epidemic" was only an issue for the past decade, well go back under your rock and shut off the computer. You may end up being a victim of an internet related crime. I am worried about you being raped or taken advantage of financially is what I am saying.

not true. went to jail over less than half a gram of weed. 4 days, year probation. criminal record. I know it's illegal, but still.
I cooperated with the officers. They were in a middle of a sting and had to get back to that, he threw the half blunt out in the field, and i had just pulled in my driveway when they pulled me over, I parked it in my driveway cause i knew they wouldnt tow it there when they found it. Also my only crime for being pulled over was matching a cars description they were looking for.

If they would just legalize all the drugs for a month, we would have a self cleansing of society cause most of them would overdose in a few days. It seems harsh, but it is true
It would be like "The Purge" Only with drugs instead.

I just wish they would tell some names.lol All these people who don't care to tell everything they know on each other are all suddenly quiet. Makes you think they are the ones that got arrested. lol Seriously though I can't believe the list has been secret for 24 hrs in Greene Co. People don't care to post rumors about people who die on here minutes after they take their last breath, but they protect the names of the druggies. smh
