Article II, section 3 of the Constitution. Every POTUS has to give a State of the Union speech every year.

Yes, regretfully, he is the president. Maybe he would get more respect if he actually started to act like one. I think he has a personal vendetta to ruin this country, and frankly I think that is the only thing he is accomplishing so far.

There you go again confusing "Hope and Change" and "Forward" with ruining this country.(just kidding) I didn't watch the State of the Union speech. I refuse to watch him when his lying mouth is moving.

That's funny stuff "contradict this". I didn't watch it either. Agree with your last sentence too. It would be like watching the movie "Groundhog Day". Same thing every time he talks, but always the same ending. NOTHING.

While not required to deliver a speech, every president since Woodrow Wilson has made at least one State of the Union report as a speech delivered before a joint session of Congress. Before that time, most presidents delivered the State of the Union as a written report

Yeah with him you can always 'hope' things will 'change' and that we can hurry and fast'forward' to 2016 when he will be gone and maybe, just maybe our country can get back on track again.

Our next worry is 2014. If the Dems take back the House then Obama will definitely finish destroying our America.

If the House Republicans continue to be viewed as obstructionists and nothing of substance is done voters might want to take a Democratic Congress AND presidency for a 2 year test-drive. My admiring personal judge will label this spam as soon as they find it.

Even if another Democrat wins the presidency in 2016? Spammer, do your duty!

Did not say whether Republican or Democrat, merely said just maybe when he is gone our country can get back on track again. Doesn't matter who does it as long as, hopefully, someone can.

Didn't we just try a Democratic President, House, and Senate in 2009 and 2010, and that is how we got Obamacare shoved down our throats, and the debt go up a few trillion?

Not the way I would put it, but yes. However, since then the public perception is the House Republican majority has been holding up ANY Democratic/Obama initiative through refusal to compromise. The Republicans bet everything on the expected repeal of Obamacare and the also expected defeat of Obama in the 2012 election. They lost on both counts and cannot continue to be seen as obstacles to needed legislation for another 2 years. Here spammer, spammer!

My opinion: as of NOW, in 2016 a Democratic POTUS would still face Republican resistance; a Republican POTUS would face legislative retaliation from Democrats in Congress. And the logjam would continue. Come on, spammer!

This is offtopic, but why are all your post labeled as spam? Back to subject, I would like to see maybe a Paul Ryan or a Marco Rubio or a Rand Paul be elected next time. I am also really liking the Dr. that has been on TV lately. Dr. Benjamin Carson (I think). Very interesting man. These are all just my opinion, nobody has to agree with me, and I'm sure many won't.

I agree.......however, I am afraid the country is so corrupt and dependant on handouts, im not sure we can get a republican back in office. I do think Marco Rubio has a shot.....the hispanic vote now makes up so much of the election, his background may be enough to pull it off. Off course....if every state had to show a photo id and be a proven citizen..... then the whole election would have more than likely came out different. Dont get me wrong...i dont have a problem with people from other countries coming here to better themself. However, they should have to be legal citizens to vote, or to have any rights at all.

How many Hispanics are Republican in actuality or would they vote because of nationality
