Is their anyone else that has discovered true love is just a myth? To give a man all you have and it still isn't enough.

I don't believe that...I think there are a great many of us who have given our all to the wrong people and even jobs & gotten burned, but I don't choose to believe that there are NOT folks out there that are/will be appreciative, despite those who are not...it's about knowing the difference.

It isn't a myth. It's a story. Some stories just just have a long prologue and sometimes people give up on reading the book cause the prologue sucks...

lol but sometimes you read the entire book, place it on a broken down shelf and the darn thing falls and hits you on the head! Then you look for another book... lol
The first book I read... was perfect... I wanna read it all the time... in bed... on the couch... on the floor... he!!, I read in the shower!

Love is complicated. Nobody can give you advice on it. My advice is to get a puppy.

True love exists. I've had it. Love at first sight, then deep and enduring. I lost it through death. Not mine though.

Humorous and intriguing <in a scary kinda way> LOL ;-)

Isn't that love at first sight thing amazing? & how you feel giddy every time you think about them ? It happened to me a few months ago & I'm on top of the world & hope it never ends.:)

Hello, troll. That isn't the sort of relationship brothers and sisters should share... but... if it makes you happy...

As usual, your remarks are rude, goofy and uncalled for. I didn't say anything to you but here you are starting crap with me. I'm not the one(s) who have given you grief & haven't even been on here in quite sometime. Keep your distance please. I'm not interested in your drama.

You are the same person, troll, the same person that keeps saying I have herpes. Your slate isn't clean just because your under a different name. I will, however, choose to ignore u now.

I found true love once but it didn't last so maybe it wasn't true? Something to think about:/

My philosophy is you laugh or you cry. I can't let myself become morose, so I joke. Anyway, congrats on your adventure! May it last always!

If the prologue really sucked, I'd read that book all the time!

No, I'm happy for my last ex. She's literally 5 x 5. My new refrigerator is holding up splendidly, without all the wear and tear on the hinges. I don't want to kill her, anymore. Just knowing she's married to one of my ex-friends is happiness enough for me. I couldn't wish anything worse on the s.o.b. But, still; I have to wonder. I'd probably be out by now...

"true love" isnt a myth but niether is it the fairytale so often told. what it is, is a descision. it is commitment, sacrifice, and determination. it is when another's welfare is paramount and necessary to your own. it is not the absence of coflict, and struggle. it is that the moments between, with the one you have chosen, are worth the struggle. it is when you find comfort in their embrace and they find it in your's also. it is not the absence of adversity but the willingness the face it with, and for, your chosen. too often we abandon ship too soon. it is too easy to give up. we run from the task of creating the love. we forget that the treasure needs be dug from the ground. it is the toil that sweetens the reward and the sharing that lightens task.

I agree with "guess who" partially. True love does exist but it has to be mutual. It takes two people to hold it together. Granted, one might give more than the other at times but both have to give and take. These days it's too easy to have sex and overlook long term commitment. Too many people want to say I love you and not mean it. It's sad really but all live and learn by our choices and mistakes !
