I loved that place, my mom and dad were talking last and that place was probly the best place in Greeneville to eat good and cheap,so sad its gone!

I haven't been there in a long time either. The burgers may have changed, but at one time they were similar to Ham's.

My family loved the custards. We would get them on Sundays and ride through the park and watch the ballgames. Where else could u get a large cup of ice cream for 50 cents. The good ol days...where did they go?

Isnt it all........G'ville has changed SO much,hangouts gone,cruiseing gone,hard drugs coming in,too many out of towners around.Used to be most anyone you passed on the street you KNEW.Hams,linnis (lol),crossroads icecream,most all the family owned country stores,all G O N E.It's like a piece of my soul gone,as I gaze thru the empty lots and windows.

Ah, yes. Ham's and their greasy food. Can any of you remember the Big Top on Summer Street? How about the Chip Burger Barn? The best big greasy burger was at Gurney Burger or Maxine's in Elizabethton. Now we're stuck with this fast food franchised crap. Americana, rest in peace.
