Wondering would you still stop for a car that appears to be " broke down " even with a child involved, after the robberies on the Ashville hwy.

The safest thing to do would be to pass it & report it immediately. I guess you have to use your best instincts & hope for the best if you stop based on your thinking someone is in imminent danger. Isn't it a sad & crazy world that a genuinely good person can't help another? Flip the situation around, look how many people who were really broken down got victimized by passing thugs. Probably more the reason to maintain Messrs Smith & Wesson as passengers.:)

I would call local law enforcement and report a disabled vehicle/give location!
