Does anyone know of a place/places where meals are served for free? I would like to volunteer to serve meals to those who are less fortunate or have no families to celebrate Thanksgiving with.

How thoughtful of you!:) I think the white church on Newport Highway does. I was going to volunteer there last year at the holidays but my friend who was going to do it with me inquired & found out they had enough help. There will probably be places in Johnson City or Knoxville if you want to drive.

I've had a couple of invites but will probably opt for being a recluse. LOL
