Gregg had the team to win but didn't know how to get it done. Just like in basketball.

The team they played was state champs last year. They are a private school that can recruit. Good pasture had players from five counties on their roster. Why would you make a comment about the coach of the losing team when clearly the other team can recruit and stack their team.. Pretty ignorant on your part

Big deal. They had to drop down in classification to do it. Where are all the South Greenies who cried and whined that Greeneville High dropped down. Now that South Greene did it(dropped in classification to single A), I guess it's ok?

Are you that ignorant? First off, Goodpasture is 46-0 for a reason. There is no shame in 2nd place, especially when you have to play a 45-0 Goodpasture team in the championship. As a matter of fact, Goodpasture lost only 4 sets all year. They won 107 sets and lost 4 sets in a season. They were pretty spectacular. South Greene went 37 4 winning 99 sets and losing 19. That sounds like a very successful season.

Then someone wants to throw in Greeneville. Both South Greene and Greeneville are playing where they are supposed to be playing. The issue that most people have is Greeneville played up a classification for so long and decided to drop down instead of remaining up a classification. Also, the issue is much more prevalent during football season. Greeneville and the other two county schools are not in the same classification come playoff time, but the TSSAA has put them in the same division. This is not an argument people have just in Greene County. People are upset all over the state of Tennessee. It will change most likely after next season. I expect TSSAA to make A, AA, AAA, AAAA, and AAAAA for football or possibly even add AAAAAA. This will most likely see Greeneville in a different class than CDHS and WGHS, which is how it should be anyway.

Listen SGHS boy or so you say you are. What have these girls done to you? Nothing! They have worked hard and deserve their recognition( I hope you hear about how great they did at state for years to come). It was 92 before they even advanced to state, and the 93 team was the first team to ever place runner-up. So yes this 2014 team has a lot to be proud of. Not to mention that we could have been sent home not advancing to state or sent home as soon as we got there. Now let's talk about who gets there. It's mostly private schools in each division. It's that way in all sports now. So yes recruiting is happening, and yes it's legal not right in my book. I feel they need their own division. So did they do great, yes! Could they have beaten Good Pasture? No not with their big girl in. However, we could and did give them competition with her on the bench, and we could have beaten them then. As far as dropping divisions, schools don't ask for it; it's your population number. Take all that up with TSSAA. We would like to have stayed division AA. I sit at these boys games and don't have a boy. I yell for my SGHS team no matter if we win or we lose. Its called showing support and Rebel Pride. I get aggerviated at coaches it's normal, but I don't put down the team, school, or coaches. You should maybe go to another school or get on board and have some SGHS pride and support your teams. Yes even our girls teams. They did win runner-up at state!!!! This should make all of Greene County and Greeneville City proud.

No one should put the girls down, but the coach, that's another story. Oh boy, now we have to suffer through basketball season.

You are the stupid one. They have heart or they would have went home sooner! Where were you? It's illegal for other schools that aren't private to recruit. Know the rules, stupid? Coaches or teams can't compete w that and this is why they need their own division! Again you don't know the rules or anything about sports. Learn a little before you speak. Again go Lady Rebels! I hope you hear this a lot since it bothers you so. Thanks congratulation. More praise is what is needed.
