<quoted text>Vallie Insurance on Tusculum Blvd, next to Howard's Pharmacy was quite a bit cheaper than State Farm or Farm Bureau for my cars and home. I have been with them for about a year, but haven't had a claim so I don't know how they are about paying off.
erie insurance from vallie is great, i have had them for 3 years and saved thousands on premiums, i have had 2 claims 1 for storm damage and i for 10 grand on my vehicle but they gve always paid, i wont go anywhere else

What is there to really like about an insurance company? All they actually do is take your money. I'll pretend I like you, if you give me some money.

Hey Srounger, please post again with what you find out. We were dropped by Nationwide after being with them over 30 years because of finally filing two claims. Saved a little money with Farm Bureau because of bundling policies, Life, Auto, Home, etc. Buddy $1000.00 could be a big hit! Let me know!
Vallie Insurance was mentioned earlier and is the cheapest I found.

You had Ben for years? Last name? Ben T hasn't been with Farm Bureau for years. He just recently went there from a local bank. Is there another Ben.
Too--not only did my house deductible increase, my auto coverage jumped about 30% and I haven't had any claims recently on either. I have had FB since 1998. Only claims have been a non-insured driver ran a stop sign and took my bumper off 5-6 years ago and a speeding ticket 3 yrs ago. Still jumped. I have home/auto/2 life insurance policies. I called them and asked why such an increase and was told they are looking at it using several different criteria areas (credit, how you pay your bills, etc). And then he said something that really caught me by surprise....he said--"go check around, go to State Farm, we are still cheaper than they are". I look for their "membership fee" to increase too--seems like I am always paying that charge. I dread it, but I'm going shopping too!!
