I am amazed at you people who bash Christians constantly. I am a Christian and respect your right to be an atheist. Yes, there are many hypocritical and judgmental people in churches, but I still go. Just because there are a ton of idiots at Walmart and Food City, does that keep anyone away? Do you quit your job because of the numb brains you have to deal with (they are at every workplace)? Jesus died on the cross over 2,000 years ago and he did it so we can have eternal life - and peace while here on earth.

I may not convince you of that, but don't be so hard on believers. There are some good ones out there who based on the teachings of Christ would give you the shirt off their back - or lay down their life to save a person they don't know. The Bible is a roadmap for life, teaching us right from wrong. If everyone followed The Ten Commandments, what a wonderful world it would be. Those principles transcend any religion and even if you aren't a believer, following would improve the life of any atheist/agnostic.

I am neither atheist nor agnostic. I believe in a God...after that my path diverges from most others. Carry on.

Bingo! The scripture asks those to spread the word and take no compensation for doing so. Have fun in your "New Age Christian Worshiping"...

1 Corinthians 9:18, "What is my reward then? Verily that, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel of Christ without charge"

Matthew 10:8, "...Freely ye have received, freely give"

Proverbs 23:23, "Buy the truth, and sell it not"

I like to drink liquor and watch porn before I go to church. That way, I don't have to think very hard about what I need to ask forgiveness for.

That and it makes the church parking lot sex between services just knock-yer-eyes-out good!

The reason why people always say that Southerners are so much nicer than Northerners has a lot to do with our staunch conservative christian values down here in the south. That pretty much explains why we are better than people who grew up in the North without God. Sadly because of their blighted upbringing most Northerners have no respect, discipline, or manners.

You should always bring your guns with you to church so that you can protect yourself.
