A meteor could hit Earth at anytime, destroying all life in a matter of minutes! Would you want to live there? How do you people get out of bed in the morning? Oh, I forgot, you don't. You lie around and watch reruns of Empty Nest waiting for a secret encoded message for a call to action. It ain't coming folks. Stop repeating the lies spoon fed to you by a washed up B list actor trying to leave a legacy for her otherwise wasted life. I know liberals are not supposed to think for themselves. They let idiots like Rachel Madcow and Chris Matthews do it for them. Open your minds, think for yourselves. It's fun!

You are right and the people that chose this land realized there would be no opposition, none. Why? Because the majority of people doesn't have any information on how lethal this is. Someone on the top is pulling the strings on this one, and they realized exactly what they were dealing with. Desperate people, that need jobs so badly, and that is exactly what they found, save a few. People you have been had, just like so many others before you. Your leaders sold you down the drain, and they never blinked.
They are blinking now and are running rampant to defend themselves. I agree we have been had.

You people simply dont understand that US Nitrogen will NOT be manufacturing BOTH of the components needed to cause an explosion. Do your research, dont listen to the hippie tree-huggers!

If you are so worried about fertilizer go to the Co-Op and picket them - they have tons of it.

Since you dont thing its a problem. I know a man who will sell you a piece of property CHEAP right be side it. Then you and your family can play outside while amonia fills the air.

U.S. Nitrogen's website states that the plant will produce ammonium nitrate (NH4-NO3). If you do your homework, it will show you that the only components necessary to cause an explosion from ammonium nitrate are an ignition source, or an out of control fire.

Ammonium Nitrate is made with the acid-base reaction of ammonia and nitric acid. An explosive force occurs when solid ammonium nitrate decomposes rapidly into two gases, nitrous oxide(laughing gas) and water vapor. Read up on Nitric acid and ammonia. I have to assume that if U.S. Nitrogen's website is correct , then both anhydrous ammonia and concentrated nitric acid will be present at this location. Nitric acid dissolves flesh. I have seen it happen in person.

How cheap Sally? It really don't matter. I wouldn't live in Mosheim if you paid me. We got land for sale up here next to my house. It will be expensive though. You see I'm Park's neighbor. I don't personally know her, but I feel she will keep our territory safe. I sure am glad she lives next to me.

No, he has. I saw it too. I think it was on a rerun of Empty Nest. A guy came into the Drs office covered in Nitric Acid. The dufus secretary yelled "run fer yur lives". and ran out of the office. One of the greatest lines ever. Now that I think about it, this could be the secret code all of you look aid drinkers have been waiting for. Git Er dun!

I feel for the families that live in the area. The county should never have let this happen (the plant coming to midway, tn) Anything is possible it could happen here
Families are stuck with family farms and now they have to put up with this they have no where to go because they can not sell their property, who would buy it not me. when an explosion happens I guess their family members will take legal action then.

all of this for a measly 80 jobs, when in reality 15 or 20 of them will be halfway local people. Green county duped again.

I spoke with a couple of the families that they have ask to sell their property and they offered them about 1/3 of what they were paying others when they first come here. I heard it was for government regulations, they need so much property around their plant. Taking advantage of property owners. Thanks Tom Ferguson for what you have done.

Ferguson doesnt care what you think. All he cares about is taking advantage of people and drinking himself to death.
