And before you say.. WHY DONT YOU HAVE YOUR BEST FRIEND DRIVE YOU TO WORK AND TAKE YOUR KIDS TO SCHOOL SINCE SHE LIVES RIGHT DOWN THE ROAD FROM YOU.. let me tell you she has kids and I have kids. We work different shifts and miles apart. She has no room for us in her insured vehicle. So please dont even go there. I have considered all options. And my only option right now is ME.

Blah blah blah excuse after excuse for no ins. I donate plasma twice a week just to pay for my ins. Because guess what! I can't afford it either but I'm glad I found a way because I got rear-ended by a drunk driver with NO INS.!!!
I would have bills up the yin yang had I not found a way to get ins. And I still have to come up with the deductible for my ins. To get my car fixed.
I find it very upsetting that people can afford their cigs and booze but can't get ins.

I wonder how many people who can't afford insurance have cell phones and cable tv? If you can afford those luxuries, you can afford insurance.

Most states make it harder to drive without insurance than TN. In lots of other states you cannot have a valid tag without providing proof of insurance. I think that would go a long way to solving the problems here.

I, for one, am tired of struggling to pay full insurance just to cover somone else's negligence. I feel for some of the people who are struggling, but we all are.

I so see why people drive without insurance however I definately dont condone it seeing that i pay the extreme amount due to my age and possibly gender it is outrageous how much we have to pay due to other people not having insurance and obviously us all being so high risk and also people who claim for silly things on it like fake whip lash which causes peoples premiums to go up and up. I really think there should be a crack down on uninsured drivers and then some sort of fair insurance that was more accessable for younger people then what we may find is that there will be less uninsured people on the road

With the jobs being so limited, the cost of food is up, the cost of gas is up, the cost of medicine is up, he11, the cost of simple living is so high, who in the he11 can afford it? Some need the cars to get to work or for taking their kids to doctors, schools or whatever. For one, there is no such thing as accidents, someone is at fault. Dumbazz drivers do not need a car or license. Regardless, from the time you get up until going to bed, you pay as you go, you have to be well off really good to afford everything needed.

If you can't afford car insurance you shouldn't be allowed to drive. I have ZERO sympathy for people who think that they can use their tough sitiuation as an excuse for putting everybody else at risk. I want all uninsured drivers to be sued for all they have. Then see how bad it hurts.
