I read in the Greeneville Sun tonight that John Rogers was rear-ended yesterday by a driver without insurance. Bitch said that she was reaching over to get her clipboard in her seat, and that's why she didn't stop in time.

Why oh why do people drive without having insurance? I bet he'll have a field day trying her in civil court.

I would venture to guess they can't afford it.

I thought the exact same thing when I read the article! Unfortuntly there are a lot of people that don't have car insurance. I'm 37 now and ever since I was 16 I have ALWAYS had full coverage on my vehicles! Usually the excuse is, "well I can't afford it...." Tough shit I say, find a way to afford it! Not only is it a must but its the law! One of the 3 things an officer asks you when he pulls you over, "I need to see your license, registration AND PROOF OF INSURANCE"!

I hope John Rogers sues the shit out of her. There's NO EXCUSE for driving without insurance. Especially when you make wreckless decisions like reaching for a damn clipboard when you're supposed to be paying attention to the road. I say let her rot in jail for a few weeks. That'll get her ass to the insurance office to buy some coverage.

What could she possibly have that he would want??? She evidently dont have any money or she'd had some ins.Reaching for a clipboard is not any more reckless than fixin your mirror, changin the radio station, lookin in the rearview mirror to check on your kids or any of a # of things that everybody here does.

If you can show you have, i believe around $60,000, then you don't have to carry insurance. Oh, I would probably guess that Mr. Rogers insurance has uninsured motorists. Zool's does!!

Drivers should be responsible for any damages that they may cause in an accident. It makes me angry to have to buy uninsured motorist insurance coverage in my policy because I may get hit by someone who is not covered and/or would not cover the damages they may cause in an accident.

she is a crack head on probation had 3 or 4 failed drug tests and she should have been in jail and then she wouldnt have to worry about car insurance. she needs to be put away and she works under the table and drug court calls that a JOB UNCLE SAM calls it Illegal and tax evation on probation and they allow her to break the law

It doesn't surprise me that some people see nothing wrong with not carrying insurance. I've carried it since I was 16 and I'm now 37. Do you think I've always been able to afford it? NO!!! But I do because if I cause an accident. It's not the persons fault I hit. It's mine!!!People just don't care anymore. Just like all these deadbeat parents out here having babies and not helping to take care of them. People just don't worry about the consequences of their actions. Get a life and take responsibility for yourself. Your no better than me!!!!

Im a single mom. Dont get any help in child support because my kids father would rather smoke pot and be a loser then buy groceries. I pay the house payment, the car payment, the light and water bills, FAMILY health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, house insurance, groceries, dish soap, detergent, toothpaste, etc. And i buy my kids shoes and clothes and give them lunch money for school and did i mention gas prices are ridiculous. YES- i lost my car insurance recently. Even thou i have ALWAYS carried full coverage ever since i got my driver's license several years ago. I am extremely stressed about that. Times are hard. Money is tight. And the government wont help unless you are UNEMPLOYED. I cry ALL the time. The world was not created for a single base income. But when you marry someone you dont expect things to turn out the way they do sometimes. Sh#t happens.

The government will help you if are unemployed- UNLESS they believe you are able to work and are just being lazy. If you got layed off- you can collect unemployment. If you "qualify" you can recieve food stamps or you can go to the food bank and they will help you get food. The government will assist you UNLESS they believe you make too much money. And they dont look at your "net income". They look at your "gross" income. The amount you get before the whole world takes it away.

I have been in the situation of buying food for my kids or paying car insurance. I can empathize with those who do not carry it because they cannot afford it. Unfortunately there are toooo many who do not carry it because they chose to blow their money on drugs etc. At one point before I became financially stable, I did not have insurance. I had 3 kids at home, my now ex was not helping pay bills he was blowing it on drugs, I was working full time supporting a family of 5 and had an accident. The other person's insurance did NOT pay for the wreck... I did. I had to make arrangements with their insurance company to make payments until the damages were paid off. I paid my fines, I paid the damages, but I could NOT afford insurance at that time. Therefore I paid the price.

That is easier said than done buddy. We cant pay the insurance if we cant get to work. And we cant get to work if we dont have transportation. I know your insensitive ass will probably say "WALK". Well i would walk to work if i could. But i cant. And i cant carry my kids on my back and get them to school. We dont live on a bus route. Im doing the best i can. So drive careful and i will try and do the same until i win the f#@k#n lottery and can live a normal life.
