I take it that you dont spend much time in the wilderness, do you?
More than once I have been treed by packs of the wild dogs that live in the wilderness. There might be a dozen or more of them come a booming down on ye out of nowhere. And unless you can either...
A...get up a tree and be prepared to wait them out until they leave (however long that is). Or...
B...be able to deal with them by shooting them all (however many of them there are)
Unless you can do either of these two, survival in that situation is unlikely.
Your story is complete bs... wild dogs/coyoties usually do not attack humans unless they are starving... and even if they do, one shot will scare the rest off...

I'm not an anti gun person, I think anyone should be able to have whatever kind of gun they want... but you are just full of shit...

You hit the nail on the head with this post.
If you are going to call someone dumb, you should use proper spelling and grammar...

Why did you include coyotees in your statement? I didnt mention them at all.

You are being dishonest here, and trying to build a strawman argument by doing this. Coyote attacks on humans do happen, but they are rare.So YOU put them in as a way of showing this to build up a strawman argument.

I said wild dogs.

As to wild dogs attacking humans (and everything else they can), this is a fact, not BS. Here are some links...

http://news.yahoo.com/wild-dogs-kill-4-mexico...

http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2012/...

http://survivalscoop.blogspot.com/2009/08/sur...

http://www.clarepeople.com/2013/01/22/wild-do...

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,540466,00...

So there you go. Wild dogs are indeed out there, and they are dangerous. And if one leaves the shopping malls and suburbs, and ventures into the remote hollers and hills of the Appalachian mountains, then the chance of meeting up with them is pretty high.

As for the one shot scaring them off, I wouldnt bet your life on that if I was you. Why?

Because these wild animals have learned to associate gunfire with food. They know that hunters shoot deer with guns, so when they hear a gun shot, they actually run towards it thinking to take the dead or wounded deer, and eat it for themselves.

Kinda like the Pavlovs dogs experiment.

So, the myth that one shot will scare away these predators is just wishful thinking.

One shot just makes them drool and get hungrier.

I said coyoties because they are more common around here that packs of wild dogs... you can link a few stories, but its still very rare...

Im just saying that the wilderness is a dangerous place, and sometimes there might indeed be a legitimate need for a semi-automatic gun of some sort.

I dont have one myself, though. I just skinny up a tree if there are more of them than I can handle.

I once came up on a bear while deer hunting, and the bear was making a furious ruckuss at me, acting all aggressive.

I was scared, I dont mind saying. The rifle in my hands felt like a cartoon rifle, you know the ones that just go limp like a wet spaghetti noodle in the cartoon hunters hands?

There are indeed dangerous and scary animals in them thar woods. Haet aint like central park at all!

Yeah, thats right.

The folks pushing these stupid gun bans are all just sissified city boys (bloomberg) and a bunch of know-nothing, big-mouthed feminist nut cases from the city and suburbs.

No real American is pushing this communist mess. Its just the typical anti-God, anti-traditional values, hedonistic, given over to evil (devils) crowd that is pushing it, as per usual.

Just the usual suspects.

Ignoring the childish behavior of certain leftist posters...

Did you guys hear about that dummy bloombergs newest anti-gun add? The one obviously intended to be a slur on the NRA and every legal, law abiding gun owner in the USA?

The one where he sort of paints a typical gun owner out to be a redneck idiot?

But bloomberg is telling on his own ignorance and stupidity here with this add, because...

The add shows the character (right out of central casting) who violates the three gun handling safety principles that the NRA has taught for decades.

Bloomberg and the leftist idiots who made the commercial didnt even know these simple basics about safe gun handling.

And it is quite clear that no one involved with this add knew anything about firearms.

So why should anybody take them seriously about anything else they have to say about guns, if they cant even get the most basic stuff right?

And through the ignorance of bloomberg and the leftist ignoramuses who made this stupid add, someone might actually be shot or killed because of the unsafe firearm handling being portrayed in that add.

I hope no kids get a gun and try to emulate what they see in the add. If they do, they will be in severe danger.

Doesnt the leftist gun grabbers like kids? Are they putting these adds on TV and the media in a deliberate attempt to cause gun accidents?

Typical of what we see from the leftist nutcases and knee jerk maniacs, with big mouths and pea sized brains.
