Stopping people from posting degrading, untruthful or abusive posts about people BY NAME is not the same as censorship. Censorship is not always a bad thing. I dont want my children watching x rated commercials during spongebob, do you?

I dont feel language or conversation should be banned on topix, but threads that were created with the intention of publically humiliating private citizans should be taken down when reported.

Regardless of what people might think, words are very powerful. It really pisses me off when people minimize how communication effects our lives.

i agree with olive but as for myself it doesnt bother me when ppl on here start with me the way i see it they aint man enough to run that mouth to my face but the trolling thing is stupid childish and senseless grow some balls and say what you got to say or run your mouths to ppls faces instead of hiding behind a screen and i would say what i just said to your faces the bullying has gone way to far now ppl get on here and abuse theyre privileges and try to make someone elses life a living hell and the reason is cause they dont have a life and they aint happy with themselves that 100% true deal with your problems and be responsible for yourself instead of causing problems and worrying about everybody else

It is happening and has. The girl who hung herself, was directly a result, of cyber-bullying by the sick troll mom. kids are doing it way too often. A person is ripped apart, destroyed, to the point, they kill themselves.

What you are actually showing these people is, how when someone tries to state the obvious here on Topix, something that Topix for some reason, does not want to deal with, the real pain that is being caused in people's lives, how harshly Topix deals with those brave enough to speak out.

Look I was around before you found Topix. I have in one account or another and have seen you and your friends at work.
