NASHVILLE, Tenn.(AP)- A circuit court judge in the third district has received a public censure and public reprimand from the Tennessee Board of Judicial Conduct.
According to the board, Judge John Wilson's censure was for conduct during a 2011 deposition that was "intemperate, argumentative, disruptive and not in conformity with acceptable judicial conduct."
Wilson also failed to abide by a previous agreement that required him to refrain from injudicious treatment of a certain attorney. Wilson's failure to control his animosity led to a case being transferred to another judge.
Wilson's reprimand is the result of an improper hearing and decision in a parenting case that took place outside the courtroom.
Wilson must appear before the board at its August meeting.
The third judicial district serves Greene, Hamblen, Hancock and Hawkins counties.

Wilson doesn't get along with Attorney John Rogers. Do you know anyone who does?

Would appear that Wilson thinks he is above the law.

Why the fascination with Rogers? He has lost a TON of very big cases. He is too old minded to be effective. I saw that when I had to serve jury duty. The man seriously pissed everyone off due to his ignorance.

Wow! Time flies - its time for Johnny to take his medicine. Looks like some of these lying lawyers and above the law judges may be getting a dose of the medicine called "misery" they have dosed out for years.

Its common knowledge that perjury is not prosecuted in Greene county. There is no incentive to tell the truth - but usually a major incentive to lie. I say " change the name from courthousr to story telling center "
