The Fulton players and coaches are sitting back laughing and waiting to get their hands on GHS again while they are spending all of their time on whether they did or didn't trash the locker room at WGHS. M guess is they did probably trash it and Fulton is going to trash them on the football field.

I believe this will be a better game than you think. Let me assure you of 1 thing. Fulton WILL NOT beat Greeneville 79-7!

True but they always buy their way out situations. Wish someone would make them take responsibility instead of just saying "oh honey its ok, mommy and daddy knows you wouldn't do anything like that".

It was more than just "trash". They broke chair legs and poked them into the walls causing damage!!!!!!!!!!

This topic should be renamed "I'm from wg and I'm bitter" sounds like a bunch of sore losers trying to start drama and trouble! Typical!

i know that happens at times, but people forget that half of the kids in that school is low income. They get some kind of government help. So not all can buy their way out tough spots

Probably not but not many games are that lopsided in the playoffs. It will surprise me if it is a very competitive game though.

Why don't you idiots get over it! Ghs requested to be in the other district with elizabethton but the tssaa stuck them with this district because of travel and saving the state money. If anybody thinks it is enjoyable to pkay at wghs and put up with this same crap every year you are crazy. No other county school acts like wghs. Sghs and cdhs played ghs for years before they moved down and even had some great games. Everybody is tired of the wghs bullcrap. Just shut up. And no they did not vandalize the locker room. Give us all a break.

First of all I want to says kudos to Coach Case for owning up to his actions and taking responsibility for them. He didn't blame anyone else just said he did wrong. Takes a big man to admit wrong doings. As for the vandalism that took place in the locker room, I hope whomever is responsible will be a real leader, own up to making a mistake, and be willing to accept the consequences to make amends. Be it West Greene or GHS, will the real men please take a stand? This will be a true champion in my eyes!

I got a feeling this game will be closer than I originally thought. It will probably be the best high school game in the state this year. Fulton is really great this year, but so is Greeneville. I wish it was tonight. You mentioned you haven't seen GHS play this year. You should come watch them. A heck of a lot better than last year. My buddy and me were going to watch Fulton play, but we really didn't see any games on their schedule that we thought would be competetive.
I will be shocked if GHS beats Fulton, but I do think they have a chance. Certainly more of a chance than anybody else in 4A.

Your child would do what the coach said or your child definitely would never see the field again.

<quoted text> Ofcourse you didn't hear any negative comments because your son plays and you will always be a supporter and proud of how they acted. What they did was wrong. It was a disgrace to their school that YOU graduated from. Oh and the bullying, come on really? What about the football that GHS kicked over the field house that one of the WGHS Alumni kept and would not give back. That is why GHS started going for two points until going the other way. Be a supporter but don't approve of your child not shaking the hands of another player after a game. My children play high school sports and if they did that, they would never see the field or the court again!

I would love to see Greeneville play but probably won't get a chance this year unless the play Fulton in the playoffs. I'm sure GHS has a fine football team, obviously they do, but the thing that sets Fulton apart from most HS teams is team speed. They have speed everywhere and they just overwhelm defenses. It kind of reminds me of Oregon and the way they overpower people with their speed. Hopefully they will get to meet in the playoffs and it will be a great game. I love HS football and this time of year.

I'm pretty sure they will play each other. I may try to go to Fulton Friday night. They play Knox Carter. Carter is undefeated also. Should be a decent game. You are right about Fulton's offense. I remember the one running back from last year. Man he was fast!

I haven't seen Carter play this year except in the jamboree but I don't think they have the athletes to play with Fulton. They are well coached though so it could be a decent game. I'm already looking forward to the drive up to Gville to watch Fulton and GHS play. Any suggestions on good places to eat in town while I am there besides the typical fast food or franchise places?

If you have a lot of time, the butcher's block is a good place to eat. It's a little pricey, but it's good.I always sit on the visitor's side, maybe I'll see you. I'm not for sure it will be at Greeneville now. I keep hearing different things about where our games will be. Some say we may have to travel some during the playoffs. I guess I better get to finding out. It is about here and I can't wait.
