Why do we have 2 different youth football organizations. This is for our kids. An organization should be formed, where all Greene county youth compete together.

Instead of having a president, there needs to be an elected board, 1 person representing each team organization. Speaking of which, the teams should be reflective of the high schools. Kids would play for the teams that their elementary schools feed into. If you go to mosheim, you would play for wg. If there are enough for multiple teams, in that district, then draft those kids only to separate wg teams equally. Let them start building the pride for their school early

The different organizations cause a rift in this area. One charges entry to games, one does not.

They have different weight limit requirements. One allows 10 year olds to play with 7,8,&9 yr olds. Granted the 10 yr olds have to be under weight, but experience makes a difference. Why have an older child play with younger, playing down, doesn't improve a child's skill and ability. Have faith in the child. A 2 year age separation per team would also decrease the size differences

Why are there 3 different ages per group. Most leagues will play 5/6, 7/8, 9/10, 11/12. This would allow more playing time, and add a balanced playing field

These kids will play along side of each other later. Why not allow them to start building those bonds now, which would
Make for better high school teams. Having players that have learned each other strengths and weaknesses over years of team building

Same amount of kids, so there would be no additional unexpected equipment costs.

The weight limit is so Tim can stack his team only to win. He changes the rules every year to stack his team

Consolidation sounds logical. Probably prove more cost effective too.
I just don't see the benefit in having separate leagues.

There are too many kids so they need to split them up. I believe both leagues can be successful. Tim isn't "stacking his team to win". Tim is coaching two teams because no one else would volunteer to coach the little league teams. John you seem to present some good ideas maybe you should contact both leagues and share your ideas.
