Not belittling or insulting, but what is your definition of Sabbath keeper? Not a term I'm familiar with.

My best friend and her husband do. His family does as well. The closest you will come to "Sabbath keepers" inside of a church is the Seventh Day Adventists... I worked for a dr that was SDA. We clocked out no later than 3 pm every Friday, she left by noon so she could prepare meals for the next 24 hours before sundown.

I can sense your sacasm. Sorry, but sometimes people get to know others, learn about their life... And have lived through a lot... Maybe it's uncommon for the people "around these parts" to know a little about a lot... Personally...I think It makes a more well rounded person than one who knows a lot about very little... Next subject... Let's see what else I know.:-)

As in doing nothing but pray and attend religious services on a designated day of the week?

And by nothing... You're more than correct. They do not even go out to eat or travel because it may make another work on their sabbath... my friend and her family stay at home, however, because although they worship on their sabbath, they cannot find a church that believes and teaches as they understand their religion.(They do not celebrate traditional holidays among other things) The dr I worked for attended SDA on Asheville Hwy, and did celebrate holidays...

You are looking for the Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Church. There are 3 congregations in Greeneville: Riverview SDA and Greeneville SDA churches are both on Asheville Highway. Greeneville SDA is across from Ingles and Riverview is next to the dam. The Brainard Chapel SDA Church is on Henry St.
Services for adults and children start at 9:30 and sermons usually start around 11.
Seventh Day Adventists are Protestant Christians who worship on the Biblical Sabbath (the 7th day)as established at Creation and who look forward to Christ's soon return in His Second Coming. We'd love to have you join us for a Sabbath blessing :)
