Oh by the way what happened to the Postal Workers' Union President that was going around on his route sexually assauliting the older women. Huh? Not even a slap on the wrist for that. He was my mail carrier for a few years off and on and I made dang sure I was in the house with the door locked when he came by, gave me the creeps, then I happened to see him at jury duty,WHOA, I did a double take on that.

He was terminated! It took over a year for that to happen, but he didnt work during that time frame! He got what he deserved and we were glad to see him go!

Maybe your carrier decided it was time for you to get off your lazy butt and go to the post office yourself. Your stamps pay for delivery, not pick up. The red flags only signal that mail in there, it does not require us to pick it up! If you don't like living in the country, then move to the city. Are you elderly or disabled? Probably not! Probably just too lazy to go to the post office and you want your mail carrier to do your work for you! Mail carriers are the hardest working people in the country and get no respect. Rain, snow and storms, they must work. You're probably just upset because your foodstamps didn't come in the mail.
Did you seriously just say that, you have a mindless skill less job. Highly overpaid but yeah good point the world progresses by people such as yourself doing the ABSOLUTE minimum?????????. I hope you find yourself disabled or elderly as you mentioned and hopefully you will receive that treatment!!!!!

I am a mailman, if the box is curbside and the mail is not being picked up then you do indeed have a fatass lazy carrier. Our job is to pick up and deliver mail, you other employees are crazy as hell! If you have a mailbox on the house and have outgoing mail, yet receive no incoming mail that day, we are not required to pick it up. If you have incoming mail we gladly pick up the outgoing, in other words...nothing in, nothing out. There is a possibility that your box is not serviced due to a bad forward, there are alot of possible reasons the service has ceased. I suggest you call the local office. I have been delivering as a professional for over 30 years, I always go out of my way for the customer..to an extent. To all my brethren out there taking the service out of US Postal Service, go ahead and retire or just quit because your unprofessional remarks and work ethics are what has us in the shitter right now!

I think the greenville, tn 30 year postal worker moved to north lauderdale, florida.

These postal workers that got all their benefits and pay for all these years should be dismissed without retirement. They are very representative of why the usps is now having problems. look at the attitude this person has towards the people he is supposed to be a service to. it seems it is allowed and therefore grows within the organization. something should be done to find out who this is and provide appropriate repurcussions for such poor attitude and service.

Our mail in the 33068 zip code has been detiorating. we never know what time of the day it may or may not come. waiting until the evening to find out they decided not to pick up our mail this particular day is very disappointing and disconcerting, especially since it was my tax forms. carriers who feel it is too much of an inconvenience to pick up mail from the house they are walking right by should be given the opportunity to experience unemployment!

i hope someone can provide some avenue to correct this poor service as i have run out of contacts that actually do anything about it!

A little bit harsh...let me guess? You either work for the postal service or a member of your family does? No one was offensive that I can read...do you really feel that their questions or complaints warranted such a nasty response? I sorry if you have had bad experiences or a bad day...was this the straw that broke the camels back? That I can sympathize with...take a deep breath and offer an answer with a more civil response...maybe they have had a bad day, too!

132.15 Motorized carriers: collect from curbside boxes (on your route) letters with
postage affixed if the signal flag is raised, even though there is no mail for
delivery to that box.

Seems to me this is the reason the USPS is in trouble.

Do yourselves a favor...start being nice to your customers! The internet is killing paper mail. Soon none of you will have a job.

Keep pissing off the few customers like the lady above who lives out in the country and you'll end up being replaced by DHL, UPS or FEDEX.

Not to mention the price of a stamp these days? For that price you should take the 5 extra seconds to grab the mail. I've never had a carrier who didn't. But then I'm also the nice lady who leaves $25 in an envelope for my mail carrier.

Bet the guy who was a jerk really does get poo in his mailboxes. LOL

It's not our responsibility to pick up your out-going mail when there is no mail to deliver. It is a courtesy that some carriers do voluntarily but picking up mail from an unofficial location (i.e., a home mailbox or public place) is NOT a job requirement. You should take your mail to an official USPS drop box or to the post office.
You incredible piece of shit. DO YOUR JOB.

CALL THE POST OFFICE YOU IDIOT!!
They will tell you the same thing. I have been a carrier for over 30 years now and lazy a-holes like you all are why it is a miserable thankless job. I work harder than 90 percent of the population and get no respect. WE DO YOU A FAVOR WHEN WE PICK UP YOUR MAIL. ONLY DELIVERY IS OUR "JOB". Call USPS and ask if we are required to pick up your mail, they will tell you NO.
Idiots.
I am willing to bet, you have never worked for the post office, and probably never had a job.. I have talk to the postmaster and what you are telling everyone is 100% BS.. He told me, the mail carrier will always pick up your mail.. If they don't, you need to report that person..

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Scorpio

Don't believe everything you see today and your memory could be playing tricks on you, too. You might remember things in a distorted or false way, through no fault of your own. You may also be reading too much into the situations that are going on around you, making it hard for you to know what's really happening. Try not to make any big decisions today because you simply aren't thinking straight.
