Seriously? Honestly, I'm pretty sure my children have never used an encyclopedia. The internet has simplified EVERYTHING! Texting has made "note passing" a thing of the past. So, teach your children the school policies and get over your shit. I have nothing further to say on the matter.

you must be one of the idiots who think they have so much power. their job is to teach academics only. preparation for life up up to the parents. teachers need to reel themselves in and teach only the subjects at hand and not morals, manners, or any other social skill. so - you get over yourself

I can tell you are a spoiled young brat. It's obvious your parents never taught you any morals. Kids that are like you have to be taught morals because their parents aren't doing their job. It's kind of hard to teach kids like you academics, when you've got a cell phone stuck in your nose. That's when the morals the teacher has to teach kids like you, kicks in. A good lesson of butt bustin never hurt a piece of trash like you either.

well genius, to start i am 57 years old and lesrned long ago that fools like you want to be told what to do because you havent the where-with-all to think for yourself. you want these jerks to teach your children morals - well in the case of your children its likely the only way they will be taught anything at all. you just want to conform to whatever standard is put before you.i realize i am wasting my time telling you anything since your very narrow mind is made up and incapable of original thought. that being the case let me close with - if our forefathers had been of your ilk we would still be speaking with a british accent - aye ducky? ta ta

One can only assume by your spelling, that you missed out on the spelling class. My kid had morals before he ever went to school. That's why he doesn't get his cell phone out in class. To go against rules when young will only lead to corruption when old.

you made me laugh - that a good thing. the things we have been discussing are serious. the teaching of children and the taking of liberties by person in positions of authority. these things are important to us all as they effect our way and quality of life and freedom. however, you may rest assured that bombings and shootings are NO part of any solution.

I couldn't agree more. Cell phones shouldn't be out in class and played with. How ever carrying one is a different story. If they have one in their pocket turned off and it falls out, they will confiscate it. that is where I have a problem. My son does carry his phone to school. With those specific instructions. It will not be on during school. But if he needs it. Specially for after school activities.

it is consider theft if you take it and don't give it back how about that being a big lawsuit.....if a woman can spill her coffee from mcdonalds and become rich off it how you think a lawsuit on a school system would pay out
