Please!!!! Keep all the negative thoughts to yourself!!! Just remember...u could be reading comments about ur family or loved one...and I assure you... you won't need any critisism or blame.... but just a word of advice to US all....when u are entering any highway... stop...look and LISTEN... you might not be able to SEE a cycle coming...but u may can HEAR it...so turn the radio down...roll down a window. It could save a life...maybe even yours.

I don't think that some of the posters are trying to say that he was bad. I think what has rubbed some the wrong way was statements like LOOK TWICE SAVE A LIFE, implying that the driver of the car was at fault.

If you are traveling upwards of 80mph on a motorcycle, you are really asking for trouble. If not a car, how about a dear at that speed?

speed is a factor, but as drivers sharing the road one should be considerate enough to realize that you dont have to be 30 to have a motorcycle license and even at proper speed limits an impact on a bike is obviously going to be more detrimental than in a car. I do not know who is to blame in an ACCIDENT, but I do know Derrick is no longer with us and Corey is 18 years old, somebody's child, and the list goes on for accidents that could have been prevented with safer driving. With that being said, everyone should look twice Anyway, and you can shove your smartass comments in the midst of a tragedy right up your ass.
I wasn't trying to be a smart ass. I never once said anything bad about anyone involved. All I said was I don't think people should be allowed to get their motorcycle license until they are 30. I also said some people should never be allowed to get a license period. If that offends you then you have problems. I feel for the parents of the guy that was killed. I wouldn't wish that upon anyone. That is the worse feeling possible, to bury your child. No matter how old you get you will always be a child in your parents eyes. May God guide them though this.

So some dumbass is flying down a dangerous highway, hits a car driven by an innocent man placing that guy at risk, and it's the car driver's fault???

Get real. I see it every day. Kids have got to stop flying down our roads on motor bikes going 90+ MPH. If they want to endanger their own life that's fine. But for the love of God don't endanger the lives of everyone else on the road.

"turn off the radio and roll down the window"

Please! I'd like to see you do that! Who the hell is gonna roll down their window to listen for a motorcycle?

Here's a thought: SLOW IT THE HELL DOWN AND GO A LEGAL SPEED!!!

So what your saying is you want us now to treat turning on the road like we are crossing railroad tracks...

Maybe you should now be preaching how riding at a high rate of speed can not only hurt them but others as well..

i turned off 11 e onto snapps ferry the other day and a motorcycle turned behind me. he rared up the bike on the back wheel and road it that way all the way to the railroad tracks at the old phillips plant. the dumbass kids fly on bikes and have no regards for anyone. 1 day they will loose control and come through the windshield of a car and kill an innocent person. fact is you cant tell any of these smartass kids a damn thing, they know it all and feel like they own the road

My prayers are with all involved, but the truth of the matter is this young man is dead because of his own immaturity and actions and another person will have to live with this horrible memory for the rest of their life. So many lives destroyed for a joy ride. I pray for peace and healing for all involved. This should serve as a valuable lesson to us all.

I certainly hope your not referring to my comment. While I agree that some are being very disrespectful, my intentions were not that at all. I'm simply speaking the truth and hopefully some other young person will learn from this young man's bad judgement. Him and his family are included in my prayers as well. Accidents do have the potential to be avoided by using good judgement and obeying the laws of the road.

Do you all have nothing else to gossip about? I absalutely hate it when busy bodies put there 2 cents in shit they dont even need to be talking about! Everyone acts like they have never sped or broken any rules of the law period! The main fact is there is people that is greiving and he hasnt even been laid to rest yet and you all are talking about him! The people with your negative comments need to look at ones ownself and try to imagine if it was your son, or daughter that had passed! would you want to read this shit? yes we all know NO ONE is perfect on that walked earth but JESUS! anyone with there negative thoughts I hope you never have to go through the same situation! he without sin cast the first stone what I was taught!!!!

ya know your a sick person! How could you sit there and say a thing like that. I myself didnt know him or the family but i do know the family and friends of his does not need to be reading stuff like this. If you cant have any compassion to them then dont post anything at all. How would you feel if someone said this about the person you love!?!?!? There is a very special place for people like you when you die! For the family and friends of this young man Im sorry for your loss and I pray that you find peace in this tragedy. Just know he is now with God and in a much better place. He has now became your guardian angel. Keep your head up and ignore the stupid people. Their not worth it.
