Nice try at advertising your shop. I have always had a hard time understanding why anyone would get a tattoo, personal preference I guess, but I have a hard time thinking there is anything that I would like on my body forever. It is like being given a shirt and being told that you have to wear it every day until you die. Most often, what I like today is not what I will like in the future. Most people who get tattoos regret them at some point in their life.

I wasn't "privy" to the fact we had a business named Outhouse Tattoo.

You have no idea what you are talking about. Most people who have tattoos get them for a reason. There is some meaning behind them. The ones who regret getting a tattoo are usually the ones who get one without much thought or get one while drunk.

Jethro, you shouldn't "needle" them about their name.

No. Just... no.

Choosing a piece of (hopefully original) artwork to be permanently tattooed on your skin, especially if it has some sort of significant meaning to you, is pretty much NOTHING like someone handing you a t-shirt you are forced to wear for the rest of your life.

Tastes DO change, that is true. But the motive behind getting a tattoo in the first place is usually more symbolic than you may realize, and ultimately, this is what matters most to the individual.

Now, back to the original topic:

I doubt the name "Outhouse Tattoo" will exactly attract many people off the bat. But the place isn't Craven Ink, so they've at least got that much going for them.

But since this does seem to be someone advertising for this tattoo shop, I'm gonna go ahead and say that it might help to provide a link to the portfolios of the tattoo artists.

Outhouse Tattoos is a clean, sanitary, fully licensed tattoo parlor on Hartman Lane in Greeneville. He fixed a tattoo for me that someone else did poorly. Good work, good prices. If you are into ink, you should check him out.
