They may as well change the name of Debusk VFD to Smitty's Fire Department. It's no longer a volunteer department as he hand picks the members that he wants to join and gets rid of members that have been there for years because they don't agree with him! The election went like everyone figured it would go, he's in charge to screw the department up for another year. Maybe the members will wisen up one day and pull their heads out of his ass. Until then the Debusk community gets to sit back and watch the mayhem. OMG, I almost forgot, the Christmas Parade this year. Did you get a load of the outfit Mr. Chief was wearing in it? What a joke. Also he made sure that the car that was bought for the Junior Program in that department but is used for a Chief's Car instead was in the parade! Just change the name to Smitty's Fire department so the Debusk community can quit being embarrased every day!

Since this Smitty guy is doing such a bad job running the department. Then why don't you step up and do it? Stop talking a bunch of crap and man up and VOLUNTEER your time, money, and enegry to help the community.

did u not read his post he does volunteer. Y dont u step back shut ur mouth n volunteer ur time. Im on a different vfd n i c whats going on in debusk. I agree with the poster smity needs to b gone!! |

The rest of the dept is just as bad if they are allowing it and not voting him out. I to am in a vfd and i promise you that wouldn't fly in our dept. But if they all (debusk) want a bad name and no community support than more power to them. And as for that car with light bar that is the most stupid redneck thing I have ever saw.That along gives Debusk a worse name if that's possible

I do volunteer too!!! So shut ur mouth! When there is a problem I talk it out with the people I have a problem with not smear their name on topix. That is why departments are falling apart, too much back stabbing instead of being grown up and talking about the issues. I beat they have never told all this to the guys face. But they sure can say it behind a screen name on topix. |
