I am just curious. I am a little self conscious about my teeth and that prevents me from smiling. Usually I kinda put my hand over my mouth when I'm talking to a guy I like. I know that puts off a low self esteem flag, but I can't help it. I hate to smile in pictures and usually end up looking mad in them lol. I consider myself pretty attractive. Men come on to me often. I just really don't like my teeth. I keep them brushed, they are white....they are just very crooked. I just wonder what men think about a woman with crooked teeth?

We like to see just what you women do. Nice teeth without cigarette stains and the coffee breath to go with along with it.

Teeth are teeth, if you have a nice grin just pull it off until you get over your smile complex, or just laugh. Laughing is good.

A nice smile makes a world of difference. Nasty teeth means you probably don't take care of yourself overall...

White teeth are a plus. And you already have those. You are probably overly conscious about your teeth. Check out an orthodontist. You might be able to arrange a payment plan for braces. Could be a good investment for you.

thanks for the serious posts. I was hoping for a little more responses, but that's ok. I have thought about getting braces but, I'm 32 and just think that would be kinda odd lol. Any guys wanna share feelings on women with braces? feel free to.

Get the braces. Stop being self conscious.

I agree to get the braces. They now have invisiline which are for adults and clear, you can hardly see tthe braces at all. I wore braces from 3rd grade til 8th grade and teeth turned back due to my mouth being overcrowded. Then from freshman year til junior yr. In high school but after all the pain and mockery I have straight teeth.

Oh, honey. Bless your heart. If you only knew how little something like that means to most people, you would kick yourself for wasting so much of your life worrying about it. I speak from experience.

I had really gappy teeth growing up (clean and white, just gappy) and never smiled in photos and always put my hand over my mouth when laughing. A few evil nasty skanktastic b*tches at my school made fun of me mercilessly for my teeth, but guys never said anything mean. When I was 19, I got veneers to close the gaps. I was extremely happy. When my then-boyfriend saw my new teeth, he raised holy hell. My entire posse of (mostly male) friends were horrified, and said it seriously ruined some of my "charm". Most of the girls understood why I did it, but the boys thought I was an idiot.

Bottom line: I'm glad I got my teeth fixed, because it made ME feel more confident, and that in itself is priceless. BUT I also learned later that it made almost NO difference in the way other people perceived me... only in how I perceived myself. Getting braces or other cosmetic dental work will make you feel more confident and less self-conscious, and THAT might help you socially... but the teeth themselves aren't going to change your life much. So I would say go for it, get the braces/Invisalign/whatever. You'll feel better in the end. But in the meantime, PLEEEASE don't let your imperfect teeth put a damper on your self-image.

I also feel the need to mention that any man who's worth a d*mn isn't going to turn down a cool, pretty girl because her teeth are a little wonky. Just sayin'.

My gorgeous gf of 8 years has crooked teeth, and it never made any difference to me. Things you think of as flaws become charming to people who love you. Cleanliness is a more important issue, I wouldn't want a girl who had funky breath all the time or didn't brush her teeth, but having crooked teeth isn't a big deal at all. Unless they're REALLY majorly messed up, I wouldn't sweat it. Like the previous poster said, if you get them fixed do it for you and your self-confidence and not for other people. You don't want to date a guy who wouldn't be into you just because of crooked teeth anyway. Look at Vanessa Paradis, JOhnny Depp's girlfriend. She has weird teeth and she landed the most wanted guy in the world. It makes me sad to see so many females hung up on little things that us guys don't even care about.

Ladies, us boys don't care about your crooked teeth, the extra ten pounds you think you need to lose, or the fact that one of your boobs is a little bigger than the other. We don't care about bad hair days, a pimple, or whatever else you torment yourself about. We like girls. Period. If you're clean, happy, non-neurotic, sweet, and most importantly you like us and are good to us, then we're happy as a pig in a mudhole. Any man who gets hung up on little nitpicky crap like what I mentioned above is a loser looking for a "perfect" girl for one reason: to show off so he looks like a big shot in front of other guys. PERIOD. It has nothing to do with his high standards. It's all about his ego. Avoid men like that, they don't care about you. Like Pan said, get your braces if you want to but in the meantime SMILE BIG and don't let it bother you.:)

Crooked teeth aren't that important. But by all means find away to care for them if they go bad. This makes ppl think your a crack head at first glance. And the longer you wait the worse and more expensive it will become.
