People. Honestly. Obamacare is just an attempt to get life saving health care to EVERYONE. Don't you see that WALL STREET and INSURANCE companies and rich people are more than willing to let us die.????? It's greed beyond your comprehension..... FOX NEWS has lied like there is no tomorrow...if we didn't get Obamacare, they would simply start allowing people to DIE.....stop the lies and let's try Obama care for a decade instead of fighting it for a decade...it will work, but not if people keep sabotaging it.... Only the wealthy don't want Obamacare because it takes MILLIONS put of their pockets, so they spent all this money selling a bill of goods to you......
What a [email protected] fool. Should I take my stab or is there someone else who wants to blast away?

Lifesaving healthcare my ass. People with healthcare die every single day anyway. You have a whole lot more faith in these frigging doctors than I do. You say that "Wall Street and insurance companies and rich people are more than willing to let us die." Please explain how these rich people make money on you after they "allow you to die." Wouldn't it be in their best interest to keep you alive?

Thank you for passing that info along. Brenda had lots of personal problems but I always thought she was a nice person. She was always pleasant to me. My best wishes go out to her parents and Stephanie.

It always seemed sad to me how her so-called friends just helped her with her problem instead of "helping" her with her problem. Intervention could have made a difference.

I agree with Hootie. Who does not have problems? If you can say you don't, consider yourself blessed. Brenda Grogan was also a counselor with at least one more elementary school I can think of. She was devoted to listening to those children. How many people honestly live two different lives or put on different faces depending on the social crowd they are around? I think no matter what she was trying to conquer in her own personal journey in life, she did make public/community commitments and followed through. Although I do not know her very well, I am thankful and appreciative for that. So how about the community rally around the GOOD she has done and let the rest go and remain personal where it belongs. God Bless her family at this time.

You brought tears to my eyes. People will NEVER know the GOOD things she did for people around here. Like....helping out youth in the many foster shelters around here, RUNNING the Gifts for Kids Program - without pay. She had a GENUINE LOVE for Greene County and its residents!!

I didn't know her and prayers for her family. You say she had personal problems, did this have anything to do with her death? Not asking to bash anyone, I just want to understand why her kidneys failed.

I think as humans, we are so curious as to how/why someone passes, in hopes it doesn't happen to us. Maybe that's just me!

Brenda was a top notch person. She "listened" to many, many youths during her time as a School Councilor and tried to help many kids. I'm certain that if some of these "kids" (who are now full blown adults !) were honest with themselves, they would admit that she cared and listened... Don't bash her now - try to remember the good things she did...

She was my teacher at Mosheim Ele. many years ago. It's been a few years since I bumped into her, but she always had a smile and was a nice lady. I agree, who am I to judge her. I have too many of my own issues to worry about hers, which should be the thought of most folks. Brenda was quite the hottie when I had her in class. Think that's the first 'hot for the teacher' moment I had.

I did not know Ms. Grogan, but I can only imagine that being a guidance counsellor would be a taxing job...and that one would take many of those childrens' problems home with you each nite. It is not my place to judge how she handled her stress as I did not know her, but none of us perfect. We do the best we can and we should be remembered for the good we did. I will say a prayer for her tonite and for the family. It takes a special person to do her job. I'm not concerned about her sins right now. I would rather focus on what she offered this world. Maybe...so should you?

I agree with Southern Belle. I knew Brenda Grogan personally and she was a great woman. Who cares what she did at home. I am almost willing to bet that it was not half as bad as what some of you do behind closed doors! Her care and love for children was outstanding. She gave every ounce of her being for those children and truly loved what she did. She was a caring person who will be deeply missed. R.I.P Brenda Grogan!!!
