Im gonna ring in here. I agree witcha kinda. Talent wise those dudes were great. And Jimmy that played with them basically pushed me into becoming a musician. I used to hang out with him when he ran morrell music in g-ville. They were one of the best locals decades ago lol.

Cover bands are not "real bands". My pick would have to be Padlock Grin.
Yep, funny no one mentions the only local Rock band getting national radio play on a steady basis. They are the ONLY band to be featured 5 times on "Little Stevens Underground Garage" (Springsteens guitarist) on XM/Satallite Radio. They are also being played in heavy rotation on several West Coast, New England and Mid-West rock stations. I know one of their Dads and these guys are doing it right! Oh well,I guess that don't count for much when you play at the Hyperion or Filling Station. Now THAT'S doing something! LOL!

All of these bands are having a show for charity at Applebees on the 11th with proceeds going to tornado victims. Music for a good cause. I encourage everyone to go because it is for a good cause.

Well that's pretty funny considering YOU were working with them and a few other folks to help pull off a benefit for the tornado victims at Dogwood Park. Remember? Kris Long was playing bass for them at the time. Remember Padlock Grin was providing the PA as well as helping in several other ways. Your credibility just went out the window dude.

ok lets straighten this out. I offered to help eric get this going but he called me a cpl times telling me what was going on but never called asking me to do anything. So nope I wasnt working with them just offered to. Get your facts str8. In the afore mentioned quote the person never even mentioned the band that was being played on XM. So please do tell wtf are you babbeling about?
btw props to PG hope they get whats coming to them for their kindness.

I know who PG is but Ive sure not heard them on any XM station. Now Ill admit I mainly listen to octane and liquid metal so Im sure I could have missed it. It seems we have had a misscommunication. I know kris well and would never cut on him or ignore him. Ive not heard them yet so I cant voice an opinion on their sound or talent lvl. As for the part that Id never heard of them I did not notice the tiny lil quote in the quote with the name.
