I didn't know Blaine that well, but I bought a car from him once and really thought a lot off him, he was super nice guy. I know his son will miss his father dearly and I thought I would give some words for him, maybe one day he will read them and think of his father and realize that he will see him again.

A Fatherís Passing

The passing of a loved one you hold so dear
Spawns the inevitable shedding of a tear
Questions unanswered, wishing for another day, just one more year
Mourn the passing, but hold no fear

Your confidant, your father, your best friend
You will walk and talk with him again
When at that pearly gate you arrive and are ushered in
Your father will be there waiting with a very large grin

The bond of fatherly love goes unbroken
Even though the love shared sometimes goes unspoken
Time and distance this bond it cannot break
Neither will a fatherís passing, when the Lord reaches for his soul to take

Gaze upon the skies into heaven above
And your father will gaze back at you with that fatherly love
He will look upon you with a gleam in his eye
You will indulge in his memory with honor and pride

The passing of a loved one that we hold so dear
Brings about the shedding of many a tear
Friends and family gather to mourn the passing
But they do not comprehend what it is you will be lacking

However many tears should fall
Just remember you will see him again after all
No matter how many questions you cannot answer
Just remember in the next life you shall once again share his laughter

Think of this when his loss enters your heart
That you will not forever be apart
And that his memory lives on inside of you
He is reflected in everything you say and all that you do

Live with his memory and honor his past
Live on and make his memory last
Cherish the moments you spent together
Because although you are apart for now, it shall not be forever

This world will miss you Blaine, and I know your family will.

From an acquaintance.

It was the son who died, not the father.

i seen the car accident about an hour after it happened. he hit the end of a trailer on a big truck. it ripped the drivers side door off and from what i was told by my family, that are very close personal friends of the lawson family, it did eject blaine from the car. he was driving a black honda accord. he had just taken his son and the child's mother to her parents house in rogersville. other details i wish not to list. i just hope that people don't get on here and start crap. he was a great person. my ex-husband and i were good friends with blaine, but lost touch over the years. my thoughts and prayers go out to the family and especially the child. one day we will meet again.....rest in peace blaine.....

wow that is a little harsh there don't you think? No matter what you thought of him personally, I don't think this is the time or place his family is hurting so bad right now and they don't need some jerk running their mouth, and I am sure you are perfect please don't do this to his family.

You should be ashamed. No one deserves that remark. The family is going through a horrible time. Give respect & keep your mouth shut. He was straightening his life up so u have no right to judge. Only god has that right and I have no doubt he's rejoicing that in Heaven with him.

My prayers are with the Lawson family. No one should have to bury their child.
