This topix is not about people who are burned in ovens and thrown in the river, fields, etc. This thread appears to be about the keepers of the graves of the dearly departed. GRAVES - not those who chose to be burned. So please no more about those burning themselves up. Now. What is your feelings on people who don't take care of their family's graves?
This TOPIC isn't about "people who don't take care of their family's graves" either. It is about the tradition of decoration... TRADITION, carried on by people, yes. BUT NOT to misconstrued as a bashing topic for all to tell people they are horrible for not doing so.

Soooooo I guess you placed all those lovely flowers on your kin's graves among the tall grass covered with weeds? People just kill me. I don't think you even know what your point is.

I don't visit my "kin's graves"... They aren't there. My family awaits Judgment Day in their respective holding place, whichever that shall be for them. I was included in the "tradition" as a young teen. I choose not to celebrate "traditions" as most do now. I know very well what my point is. It has not swayed. I understand the thought process behind the decoration. I do not agree with it and therefore have adapted my life to not include the action. Simple as that. I believe I have more than explained myself, which is absolutely one hundred percent more than the nothing I owe you. Regardless, because I'm such a nice and thoughtful young woman, I am going to stop intruding into your self righteous, self centered thoughts and opinions and let you judge away...

You don't worry about what we want to do.. and certainly don't be silly and come on here and DEMAND that we discuss a subject. We have been discussing it. If you want to state your opinion, go ahead, if not, shut up.

lets talk about your dogs , friend:) how many do u have? What colors are they? Inside or outside? I have a red lab and a great pyrenese, wentworth and emily. They live outside. I have a radio control fence that keeps them close to the house. My neighbor called me last year and told on them. I was convinced they were good and stayed on our property. He said as soon as i leave they run to his barn and poop. So i bought the fence. No more problems.

I have loved ones whom choose to carry on with decoration. I grew up in a different world I suppose. I helped to dig the earth in which many were laid to rest. I helped cover them with ground once their families drove away sobbing... I've seen much of the inside world of this tradition... And I'm inclined to believe that it is just that, tradition. I do not disrespect you for your choice. My children will not honor me in that respect... Because for it to be an honor for me, they mustn't carry on in any tradition. I do know "Honor thy Father and thy Mother"... Which by definition should be reciprocated as I would approve in behavior before I pass... not in my death. as I stated before, I will be turned to dust and returned to the earth... There will be no stationary place for my children nor my family to bring flowers. I'd prefer they honor me in memories and in their unconditional loving and giving actions... Nothing more. If God wanted us to place flowers and decorations, he would've said to mourn us in death and forget us not where our bodies lay... To each it's own, but it's not for me. Jmo.
Has anyone ever told you that you need an enema because you're so full of sh8T?

Yes. I "hear" that a lot.... Along with:

-How tall are you, Idk they stacked sh!t that high.
-You're so full of sh!t, you're eyes are brown.
-You're so full of sh!t it's coming out your mouth.

No matter how many enemas I try, I'm still gonna be me... So unless they make a magic enema that changes my personality... Guess I'll always be like this. Glad you've jumped on that band wagon... I was starting to think you were an original.

I have an Apple head Chihuahua. He probably doesn't weigh a full pound, full grown. He followed my youngest outside about two weeks ago... He didn't make out the door fast enough and without knowing, my son shut his tail up in the door... So now, we have a tiny puppy with half a tail... Bless his heart. We also have two outside, a welsh Corgy mix, was suppose to be full blooded... So all he really is... Is the goofiest, sweetest, eats everything and anything... Lil rascal... And a pit. She's 14 years old and still acts like a puppy... She is fat and sassy... I also have a pot bellied pig whom thinks she's a dog. A 150 pound dog. Lol

Lol I had to pass on that dream. BUT I still LOVE birds. Except finch's... Those lil brats always flew away when they got out of the cage. Lol

You can start a thread, you just can't control it. Not everyone it going to share your opinion. If it gets off topic (like it always does) and degenerates into crap (like it always does), move on. Don't respond because it just encourages more trash talk. People on Topix love push your buttons beyond just offering a different viewpoint. It's how they get off.

A little vinegar and water would take care of cleaning that cage.. lol I'm sorry you had to pass on the macaw... We've had ours about 15 years.. yes, they are nasty and a lot of work and expense, but I love my big boy so much. He sings.. hollers, talks.. quite the clown. lol

When people ask me I tell them they look a lot like a long-haired greyhound. lol We brought our first borzoi back from Germany in 1997 and I was hooked on them ever since.. We showed one little girl but the rest we have had we gotten through borzoi rescue. They are not the breed for everyone either. My girl is on the bed pissed off because we have company here.. SHe won't eat.. won't go outside to pee.. she's VERY stubborn.(GRIN) she's also one of my seizure dogs...
