I actually have performed at some bars and dives. Just a little country guitar. Mostly funny stuff. Johnny Cash, Roger Miller, Jerry Reed, etc. A few jokes also. Maybe you've been to one. Old Timers on the beach outside Daytona. Rough place. You don't won't to bomb or you'll get one. The owner told me, "Be funny. People come here to forget their troubles." How do you make a guy forget he's up for armed robbery? I actually borrowed Kenny Chesney's guitar one night at Chuckey's. Played a couple of songs and got big laughs. Found out later I zipped my shirt-tail up in my fly.
