Couldnt agree more!!
Where the hell were they?
Not the dogs fault at all!! If the parents were watching him they could have kept him away from any dog.these parents are morons and dont want to blame themselves so they blame the dog.

I agree and i also feel they need to charge the people who "putdown" murdered in my opinion that dog with animal abuse because sorry but a two year old who possibly poked at the dog or another child may have harmed the dog before no one really knows not saying its the kids fault at all but not the dogs either they just want to give pits a worse reputation the people killed the dog before the police arrived bad parents and possibly dog owner if they condoned the dogs death what a shame for that baby and that dog

Dogs are a million times better than stupid humans. Humans are the most worthless animal on earth, you don't see pill head dogs running around and stealing do you.

The parents didn't have custody. I think the news said an aunt did. It was the aunt's friends or boyfriend who took the child to the house where the dog was chained up in the yard. I agree that apparently he had no supervision since he could get tho the dog and this happen like this. Someone had to be mean to the dog at some point for the dog to attack this baby. That person needs too be shot.

"According to a Greene County Sheriff's Department report, Leeland went with an older cousin to another person's house on Monday. That's where a chained up pit bull mix mauled Brown."

I don't think anyone is trying to give pitbulls a bad rep. They do that on their own. They make up a large percentage of dog attacks, most unprovoked. I KNOW some pit owners will argue to the death but it's a fact.

Being a pitt bull owner and growing up with my dad owning several pitts with NO problems EVER out of them. Consider that only the pitt attacks get the most coverage.....I know Chow breeds are very tempermental dogs and can/do attack alot. Also the little ankle bitter dogs are tempermental and can bring blood and to a child possibly lots of blood. Point being (mine anyway) is that how YOU raise a dog is how it will act. My pitts have been and are raised with love and discipline. They do bark and anyone who comes in or around them. Then you will get the best ear licks around from them. another thing...what about german shephard dogs? These are raised and trained by police to attack. But I know people who have german shephard dogs as family pets, raised to be that way and never hear a peep outta them. It is all in the raising...just as with a kid.

Like I said pit owners will argue forever about such things. The fact is that there are more recorded pitbull attacks than other breed because they attack more often. As for your dogs I'm sure they're well behaved. But as for saying its how they're raised I have to disagree. Dogs are still animals and are unpredictable. You can discipline them and shower them with affection but if they don't like someone they're going to do what they want anyway. That's with all breeds. And I get my numbers from ALL reported attacks/fatalities. Not just pitbulls.
