After filling my tank about 2 weeks ago before the last price increase I started having engine problems. It didn't start till I got down to 1/4 tank.Sounded like I was running on 3 cylinders instead of 6.When I went to a Road Runner market and got about 1/2 tank of Amoco premium (which is what I have used for many years after an engine rebuild and on advice from a Toyota technician)my vehicle ran as usual. After talking to the guy from a local repair shop, who has been doing all needed repair,he said that I had gotten some gas with water in and probably lower octane rating also.Anyone else having similar problems?I had heard several years ago from a store owner who said that Johnson Petroleum had put mid grade gas in the premium storage tank more than once. After confronting Johnson he could not resolve the issue, called him a crook and started buying fuel from another dealer.

I know for a fact the mid grade gets filled with regular on occasion so would not put it past them for the 93 to be tampered with also.

boy has somebody taken you to the cleaners and ripped you off, better go to the EPA diter and read up on gas,,,,,,,All gas sold in the united states by federal law must contain atleast 10% ethanol, no producers can sell 100% gas, i bet if you tell the syore thats ripping you off that youre gong to call the EPA on them they will change thier tune, so quit letting them sucker you out of your money

why do some station advertise and supposedly sell ethanol free gas. Example. USA station on north Eastman road in Kingsport. 4.19 per gal. Ethanol free.

The only thing that changed at the stations is the name and the colors. Marathon bought the bp oil refinery in texas. The gas has been and will continue to be the same. There has been no change in it at all.

I've figured that since it started. The 100% thing is a sales gimmick. Bringing it up is usually an instant argument so let the suckers believe whatever they are told.

LOL.....you dumbass. It is legal in Tennessee to sell 100% pure gas. Google "pure gas.org " and enlighten yourself. It is illegal to sell pure gas in some states like libtard lefty land in California. Tennessee and Virginia allow pure gas to be sold along with quite a few other states. States can repeal the mandate so maybe you should call the EPA and complain....... ROFL I'll keep buying pure gas.

Since you seem to "ignant" to do it yourself, I posted some of the pure gas.org information on here you. Have your grandkids find it on the web for ya, and maybe they can explain it to ya too. 100% gas is sold in Greeneville and just about every other decent size town in TN. Google pure gas.org and do a check to see what stations sell it, if you're capable..........

My work vehicle has been sputtering and I usually fill up at a certain newly painted Marathon station. hmmm. I'll try a different station today and report on my findings.
