I used to purchase a lot from lowes but when I saw a friends house that was damaged terribly by lowes moving company, I could not believe it. Their kitchen was so messed up floors scratched deep and Lowes did nothing about it. Time for a Home Depot in Greeneville

I know who you are referring to I saw the same floor, it was a mess, they had to have their floor sanded and completely refinished almost $7,000.00
I don't go to lowes either for that reason

I worked at Lowes and I know for a fact if Management knew about this they would have taken care of this matter. Maybe the people didn't talk to the right person at Lowes. They have had to take care of problems like this before

yep lowes is a shady business, they have certain tools on the internet at some insaine prices. but when you go to there store they don't have them even thou it clearly says on the website that they are in stock, then i called customer service and they told me they would ship one from out of state and they would call me back when they could find one, NEVER DID. didn't offer to try and help me out on the price or nothing, on the other hand i've gone to home depot before and they where out of stock on a product and they just upgraded me to a better product

Bought two garage doors from Home Depot. Clopay 9x7 double steel with 2" foam insulation.
Better & cheaper than Lowes.

I talked to a department manager at the JC Home Depot and he told me they had been trying to get established in Gville, but our town officials were making it too expensive for them. Obviously Lowe's has them in their pocket.

I have remodeled several homes and to save on gas have tried to use Lowes. When I have returned broken merchandise, they have simply re-sealed the boxes and put them back on the shelf. I keep finding the stuff I returned and Lowes will go for months without ordering any new items, I guess hoping someone will just settle for the damaged and broken stuff. Every single special order item from the Gville Lowes has been damaged by their local forklift/delivery people and has had to go back.
Needless to say I vote for Home Depot.
