It is pretty darn good and she definitely has it headed in the right direction. I have been a few times recently and both the food and service has improved. She needs to make sure Chris doesn't leave, as he can wait the entire restaurant and not break a sweat.

The last time I was there (before the grand opening) the wait for food was L O N G and the portions were so-so... my wife's plate was covered with food, I had a much smaller portion... maybe the chef looked and saw I was so fat, eh ? Good luck - but I think it still needs work !

I hope the restaurant is very successful and she makes it. Hopefully this is a start to some positive change for this town. I haven't been yet, but plan on going this week.

Went the other night and yes, the food is average, portions are small in comparison to the price. My meal was bland tasting - mostly noodles and broccoli. Meal was overpowered by the red pepper in the meal to suit my taste. With that being said, the appetizers were excellent and the salad was very good. I will still go back for another meal to try something different on their menu. Atmosphere was pleasant and there were plenty of waiters. We need to support new business in this town and I wish the proprietor the best of success.

Jan's problem on the show was she couldn't prep food to cut down on time and she couldn't manage things. She could cook and that got her to the finals.

It shouldn't be a surprise that the problems with the restaurant and what's good about it remains the same.

I think Jan would be open to someone saying what they like or don't like - or to point out a problem if there is one. Ask for her or look her up on Facebook and send a message. Criticism can obviously help improve things, while acknowledging you can't please everyone.

I went there last night and had an enjoyable meal. Not sure if the salad dressing is homemade or purchased, but I will ask the next time I am in there. Best stuff I have ever tasted...only 2 critiques ( and these are my personal preferences): would have enjoyed the loaf of bread served w/meal if it was warm when served. The other critique is a staffing issue and has already been addressed by another poster. I will definitely go back to this restaurant as I am sure as with all new establishments they have to go through the growing pains in order to succeed.

have eaten there. service was TERRIBLE. and in saying so am trying to provide constructive criticism to a much needed and extremely hoped for GOOD restaurant in Gville. Ms. Charles I will support you and just for the record I am absolutely in your corner...just saying...1. as a patron told arriving patrons [from my table]"seat yourself" as NO ONE ON THE FLOOR to do so? 2. my meal was served following 'scheduled entertainment' involving wait staff across entire restaurant regarding their personal concerns 3. Extremely long wait time between being seated and menus provided as well as extended time before being able to order the meals we had selected. I could go on but essentially do not want to pile more negativity upon your empire... I am so hopeful in you and this restaurant...YOUR FOOD WAS AMAZING (when it arrived).....BUT POOR SERVICE WILL KILL YOU!!!!!!!

Funny you should mention those. My gf & I tried it recently. It was ok, nothing spectacular other than the salad dressing was awesome. As we were leaving, we also named Azalea's, Deidra's & Danielle's. What a shame they didn't make it. Those places were worthy of coming from tri-cities for lunch or dinner.
