There is a big diffence in being weak and not wanting to spend eternity in hell. I hope you realize this before your number is called.
According to Christianity, being present in a building or some other location at regular intervals with others to listen to a lecture, etc. won't save a person from hell. If it does, point out the verse(s). I won't even inconvenience you by asking you to dismount your high horse, just point out the passage.

I'd say they probably already knew that. Just because a poster replied to comment that took kind of a jab a Chrisianity makes you think they are on a "high horse"? Really? I applaud them for it.

If they knew it, their post did not reflect it and logic demands one not to make assumptions, but raise questions. In fact, their words read as if they speak (type) from a position indicating Christianity is the "true way". Apart from that, Pascal's Wager ("Better safe than sorry.") is not a very solid foundation on which to build an argument, either in favor or against something. So my question to you is, exactly how is that person's position NOT arrogant? Please explain.

I didn't find their post arrogant at all, but I did think yours sounded that way. I can't explain for them why it didn't go in to further detail. I understood it, and agreed with it without the need for further detail. I didn't see anywhere in that post that they said it's the "true way", did you possibly make an assumption?

I have witnessed this several times while standing in line to pay for gas. A person will step up to pay for their gas and say,'give me two cartons of (insert cigarette name here) and I got $6.00 on pump 7. Ok that will be $78.56 or there in the ballpark. Amazing!

Ah, but the joke is on us as the $6.00 in gas gets them to the post office where they mail those two cartons of smokes to Australia and make a bundle of dough; at which point they can afford to come back next trip and fill er' up!

Every smoker should be locked in a cage with a carton of cigarettes just out of reach and we could make videos of them begging for their cancer sticks and laugh at them

WOW! I did not know cigarettes were that high in Australia. Did some checking and a pack is set to go up to $20.00! You and I need to get together and start exporting!

I smoke because I enjoy it, and I really don't care if some people look down on me for it.

The way you pricks post all of your issues on topix you're more than likely at this point to walk out your door and get Shot , than end up in a nursing home. Wanna Bet ?

News Flash For You: Everybody dies, eventually. Smoking can often take a few years off at the end of your life, but even if you never touch a cigarette in your lifetime you will STILL die.

Cigarettes are good for you. It's a right wing hoax that they are bad. You should take up smoking today. Cigarettes are great for your health, plus they make you look way cooler than people who don't smoke.
